Questions about which hospital to pick

I have to DITTO Pam T's response.... I went through Hurley as well and was very very happy with all the care I received there.  I do not do follow ups with them however because it is over an hour drive, however they have sent all the info to my primary care doctor and I do all my bloodwork and follow up care with them.  Although, if I ever have any gastric issues, like an ulcer or something like that, I will definitely be going back to them.... They are AMAZING!!!!!  Hope that helps you some.

I would highly recommend Grand Health Partners in Grand Rapids.

Beautiful facility, excellent staff, and the best surgeons who have done many many surgeries.

I too also went to Grand Health Partners in Grand Rapids.  My surgeon was Dr. Baker and he's one of the best I'll say!  My surgery was performed at Blodgett Hospital and the staff there was very nice as well! 

Overall very happy with my experiences.

Another option is the Duodenal Switch.  I also traveled to Grand Rapids from Saginaw, which was 2.5 hours one way, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.  I would highly recommend the DS and Grand Health Partners. 

Don't have ANY weight loss surgery without checking into ALL your options first.
