Monday Morning Madness Coffee
Back from a week long training in Chicago! Was good, but exausting..
What's in the cup this brisk, chilly morning? Black, decaf for me!
QOTD-What's been your spring suprise this year? I've been pleasantly suprised that all of my raspberries have made it this year. Normally, a good portion would be chewed off by the bunnies, but we fenced in a lot of them. Looking out for a bumper crop in June/July.
Love them berries!!
Doesn't everything outside seem earlier this year?
Well, time to get moving..

Back to work for me today, I am working 6 days this week.
I have my decaf coffee in my cup this morning. Trying to motivate myself to get in the shower and get ready for work.
QOTD- My spring surprise is that all of my outdoor bushes look like they made it thru winter, so hopefully no replacing any of them this summer.
Good Morning Michigan,
Had a nice weekend. I took my youngest to the dentist 3 cavities and sadly enough I am happy with that. He has very poor teeth and usually has more. So we have a few more trips to the dentist. On Sunday we went to the show, it was free. We seen Astro Boy. It was pretty good. My oldest son and my dad took out the garden tub in my bathroom. I hated that thing, now I have big empty space. I love it. I may start looking for a bench seat with storage.
QOTD: My big spring surprise this year. I can't say as I have had one.
Brrrr, it's cold down state this morning -- TV said 32 deg. Can't have anything to drink till after my 45 min. are up.....just finished my carbmaster yogurt with Kashi for breakfast.....will have 1 cup reg. with s/f carmel vanilla when I get to work. Been drinking a cup of no sugar added hot chocolate lately -- 60 calories, 2 gm. protein, and it takes away my hunger.
I was pleased that two of my herbs wintered over -- sage and lemon thyme....will have to get parsley and basil replanted.
Had all siblings here this weekend -- always great to spend time with family --- oldest brother is 75, I am 71, sis is almost 65, and youngest brother is 62 -- always take pictures because I know one day we'll not all be together here on earth.
Have a great Monday,
Pat R.

Done! Your Ticker:
Brrrrr is right! My office is old and drafty, so it's always cold in here, even in the summer. My poor little tootsies with no socks on are just frozen!
QOTD-I assume you mean like nature-y crap, and I don't do that. I laughed at my DH last night, outside at 11pm, covering his little baby flowers in the front because of the frost. I try to be supportive, and get in to all of this outside flowery stuff, but then the bugs get on me, or I see a worm, and I'm running inside. I will just politely cheer you guys on, ok? :)
Hope you all have a great day!

QOTD: I love love love spring and summer. I am a big gardener - I love spending time admiring the flowers, dead-heading and weeding. It's an excuse to be outside and spend time enjoying the weather. We planted 2 new perennial beds last year - a huge one spanning the width of our yard and another smaller one connecting 2 cherry trees - and I am excited to see everything looking great this year. I had to cut back an evergreen that had a lot of brown, but I can see new green growth and I am hopeful it will make it. Now I just have to wait for all the flowering plants to share their glory as the weather warms up!
It's Secretary's Week -- and the bosses brought in breakfast for us today. Super delicious quiche, oatmeal, muffins and fruit. And beautiful flowers for all of us too.
I should be getting a new computer delivered today here at work. It's exciting, of course -- but also a pain in the neck to deal with re-establishing all the settings and programs and such.
QOTD -- No big surprises yet. I'm just thrilled it's warming up and the snow is gone.

Had my protein coffee this morning, moving on to my Lipton Diet Green Tea - yum! Nice change of taste
QOTD: The forsythia is a month ahead here and the lilac bush outside my window at work has lilacs on it (not bloomed of course yet - but it won't be long!). The cherry trees have their blossoms and if the weather holds (no heavy frosts/damage) we'll have Traverse City Cherries for Cherry Festival! That doesn't happen very often....
I love seeing everything all green, the trees getting their leaves, the robins, and the birds building their nests. Of course the longer daylight helps too!
