Surgery Date Approaching Fast

I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta on April 28th.  The time is flying...thank goodness.  I am on my 3rd day of my clear liquid diet and not feeling too terrible.  I thought I would start feeling nervous but I've actually felt a calmness about it.  I just pray I have a smooth surgery and recovery.   Anybody else having surgery the same day?  Are you getting nervous?   I hope I've got eveything covered.  I would also like to thank all of you for your posts.  I have learned so much from everyone.

Good luck with your surgery and please be sure to check in with us as soon as possible once the surgery is over. My clinic called me on Friday to schedule my surgery. She told me that I can schedule it as early as May 5th! I My stomach dropped and my nerves started to buckle.  I told her that I would check with my employer about time off and call her back, which is true, but I'm also scared.  But I know that I'm going through with the surgery. I wouldn't even consider the surgery if I felt that I had other options.

I've already lost 10 pounds in 4 days on this clear liquid diet.  That's a start.

Best of luck to you... I am sure you will have everything in order.... Once you get in the one month time frame, it does seem to fly by....  All will be fine!!!!  Hope you have a safe and speedy recovery from your surgery.
