Oh, Well.  I am on my first cup of coffee this morning, have to get my work done and get ready for the Grandson.  I don't know if I will get time to post on Saturday or Sunday but will try.  Have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning Sally and those to follow.

Have fun with your grandson this weekend!!

Drinking a big mug of regular coffe with SF caramel creamer and some Starbucks SF cinnamon dulce flavoring.

I stayed up late making puppy chow and flavored pretzels to take to the boy's state bowling tournament this weekend.  I hate making puppy chow, it is so messy.

I am excited for this weekend because I get to meet Edie!

Have a great day everyone!

You're my kind of teacher Tina!  Just wondering how you incorporated it into a fractions lesson - LOL

Well, first you have to follow directions.  You have to measure things AND most importantly, you have to multiply to make large batches.  So we would take the regular recipe and multiply the amounts so we had enough for EVERYONE!  One year, we made it and sold it at conferences for a fund-raiser.  That was a big one because we had to make several large batches.  Fun stuff!

We would do no-bake cookies, too.

It's to die for!!!   But we cant eat it...well I guess you could if you don't dump :-)

It's chocolate chips, butterschotch chips and peanut butter all melted together. Then you pour it over rice chex cereal so it coats the cereal.  Then you shake it in a bag of powdered sugar.  It's really sweet and rich and yummy.  Like chex mix only sweat :-)

See you tomorrow night!

Oh, we never made ours with butterscotch chips...interesting!

Sadly (or not...depends on your point of view), I can eat it.  Not a ton of it, but enough to satisfy.  Too much....not good.

Tina - I so badly wanted to eat some last night but I don't have a clue whether I dum*****t.  I fegured what can a few bites hurt!  But I could never stop at a few bites of puppy chow - I love it!

I found the recipe on the internet and the last time I made it for the bowling city tournaments to sell at the bake sale for a fundraiser one of my son's friends kept telling his mom how 'mine tasted better than hers because I put butterschotch chips in it'    LOL.

It kinda looks like "puppy chow" when you're all done...hence the name.  Tastes MUCH better, though.  I'm assuming.

I haven't had it in years.
