Good Morning Michigan !  Yes, it is going to be a beautiful day.  Thought I would get us started today and see how everyone is.  With spring being here I'm sure everyone is busier then usual trying to get their yards and houses ready for summer.

Drinking my first cup of strong black coffee, my spark plugs are a little slow today and need to be charged up!  Went for a motorcycle ride last night all alone, my DH was at golf and it was to good of a day to waste so I had a great romp around the countryside.  Won't get any riding in this weekend, my grandson Daniel (14 months) is coming to spend the weekend with us while his mom is at a competition up in GR and his dad will use the time to work at home.  I can't wait, I haven't seen him since his first birthday in February and I wasn't able to hold him because of my surgery.  I am ready to give him lots of squeezes and hugs !   I love being a grandparent !

Have a great day !

Good morning Sally!  Beautiful day here in Northern MI too, but tomorrow will go back to reality... drinking my protein coffee this morning.

I took my motorcycle into the shop yesterday, my clutch needs to be bled.  For some reason (2nd year now) it has lost its fluid.  They need to find the leak...

I saw a lot of motorcycles on the road yesterday, and a lone lady rider. I mentioned that to the guy at the shop, and he said he saw at least 10 lady riders yesterday, riding alone - and that was more than he saw of men!  We are starting to take over - watch out!

No riding for me this weekend (even if I had the bike back) - going down to my daughters' in Brighton for my SIL 30th birthday party, then on Sunday going to a Red Wings game!!  Plus, its going to be chillier-than-I-like-to-ride weather....

Morning Sally!

Ok, here's my beef with Spring/Summer.  You wait all winter to get over the blahs, and then the weather gets warm and all anyone wants to do is yard work.  If it were up to me, I'd pour blacktop over my whole yard and stick some fake flowers in it and then not do a darn bit of work all summer.  I want to walk the dog and go get frozen yogurt and sit in my plastic chair and gossip with the neighbors.....not pull weeds and bag sticks.  Ick!  But that's what my DH does all evening, every evening.  Can you say Bah Humbug in the summer?

On a happy note-we're having our garage roof repaired and shingled today.  It's the little things that make me happy LOL

Ok, I'm done with my yogurt and Kashi so I'm off to work.  Hope you all have a good day!!

The only thing we do to our yard is mow it.  I like the look of having pretty flowers and what not, but have no desire to do that myself.  We actually tore out the landscaping (bushes and what not) and replaced it with weed block and lava rock so we wouldn't have to mess with it.  LOL!  Wouldn't you know, some flowers still come up THROUGH the weed block and lava rock on the side of the house.

We did something like that around our deck out back, I buy a pot of already planted flowers each year and put it on the rock, gives us some color and all I do is throw it out in the fall, easy care, jus****er and go.

Good Morning everyone!

I just made a big mug of black coffee with SF Vanilla Caramel creamer, splenda, and a splash of SF Starbuck Cinnamon Dulce flavoring.  Yum!!

I have lost track of what day it is.  I'm wrapping up my quarter close here at work and I swear I've said to my co-worker almost every day this week 'what day is it?'  I've lost track.  Tuesday I worked until 7pm, went home and logged back on by 9 pm and worked til 1 am in the morning.  and I am bummed that Imissed Pam's support group meeting last night due to working late!

It's going to be a gorgeous day out there today!!!!

Deb - if you read this I just wanted to let you know I went to Zingerman's in Ann Arbor and bought some Koeze Peanut butter after your comments about how good it was last week! You are right, it is GREAT peanut butter!!!   I like eating it right off the spoon!

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning.  I haven't been around too much this past week.  I'm so happy to see the warm weather, again.  I wi**** would just STAY this way until about December and then come back in January!

In the summer of 08, I got a motorcycle and my cycle endorsement.  I haven't ridden my bike since.  I got pregnant shortly after getting my endorsement and my bike was having some issues starting, so it's still sitting in the garage, not running.  I was kinda banished from the motorcyle once the baby came along.  And since my husband's strokes, well, his balance is not good.  He was riding his dad's bike around their property and put it down, because of his balance.  He's leery about riding now and said we should just get a convertible.  LOL!  I'm game!

Enjoy your day!

Good morning to all!  I've been at work already a few hours - in my home office - with the window open and the birds singing outside.  I love summer, love the sun, love warm weather.

I am a gardener and I like putzing around in the yard.  My plan is to slowly take over the yard so that my husband only has a strip of grass left to mow.  If I do this slowly enough, he may not  notice.  Not that I think he would mind - he mows only because the neighbors would talk if we didn't!  But I do like gardening.  It's a reason to be outside, enjoying the weather, seeing the beautiful flowers.

Linda
