GOOD MORNING ALL!

WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE??

I STARTED MY DAY WITH A PROTEIN HOT CHOCOLATE . . WAS YUMMY!

QOTD- IF YOU HAD AN HOUR IN YOUR DAY JUST FOR YOURSELF HOW DO YOU SPEND IT?

I WOULD GO FOR A LONE WALK WITH MY FAVORITE MUSIC IN MY EARS NOT FOR EXERCISE BUT JUST A STROLL FOR RELAXING.

ENJOY THE DAY!

Good morning Kristy, my dear.  I miss you!  I'm never going to miss a support meeting again --- 2 months is way too long to go between visits.

Figured I'd come over here and answer your QOTD too.  :-)

Only one hour.  Mmm... I'd get a massage.  But that's not always practical with my schedule or my pocketbook.  I do try and spend an hour on either Saturday or Sunday mornings as soon as I get out of bed.  With a mug of hot coffee or cocoa and just take some quiet time to read a book or catch up on magazines.

Have a great day!
Pam

Morning again all!,

I love everyone's idea's so far and I try to do all of them frequently, however Cheryl's 'watch the world go by' I usually only do in the summer on my back porch.  I live on 1.5 acres and my back yard goes back 150 ft and at the end of that is a small pine tree forest....I love sitting out there in the evening watching nature fly and wander by, it's so peaceful.

Have a great day all,

Edie

QOTD:  This made me think a little, because I do have a lot of time to myself after work.  BUT - what would I do special is what I'm thinking.... versus just the "everyday thing"... (which is go home, ea****ch tv, get on the internet)...

I too would love a massage - that's definitely a treat!  But being outside when its nice is very special to me - sitting out on the deck reading a good book in the beautiful weather - that is special.  I said yesterday "wi**** was warm enough to sit outside"...

Dang, it's 9:45 pm and I'm just now reading the 'morning' thread.

I'm right there with you on this one Jody!  I m in the same situation.  I seem to have a lot of time to myself after work BUT I seem to do the same thing every day which is go home, eat, clean up the house a little, watch TV and get on the internet.

QOTD - with that being said, I need to get out and do more things I really want to do instead of letting life just pass by.  I look at some of these moms who have kids in school and running here and there because of all of the extra curricular activities and wonder how they do it even though that was me 10 years ago.  Now that my kids are all college age, I really do have a lot of ME time and should be doing things DAILY that I want to do like take a walk, do some gardening, take a long hot bath, sit on the deck and enjoy the outdoors.  Thanks Kristy for the good QOTD....I think I will make it a goal to start doing things that I find myself saying "I wish I had time to...."  because I really do have the time!
