Good Monday Morning!

I've never started the coffe thread before but was just checking in and see no one has yet so I decided to start one.  Did everyone have a nice weekend?  The weather was beautiful and I had Friday off of work so it was very nice!  The calm before the storm for me as I am beginning quarter close and will be working 12-16 hour days for the next few weeks.

QOTD:  Are you a worrier or are you able to let things go?  Me, I'm the queen of worry.  I worry way to much about things that are out of my control.  For example, I'm worrying sick about my daughter's insurance approval for her bariatric surgery.  Still waiting.  I wish I could just let it go and not worry about things that are out of my control.  Some people are great at saying 'it is what it is' and don't stress.  For me, I worry myself sick about things.  My mom is one to worry too so I think I get it from her.  I even went to Barnes & Nobes a couple weeks ago to find a book on how not to worry about things.

Have a great day everyone!!

Morning, Nan!  Thanks for starting the thread today.

I am trying to get my butt moving after having Friday off as well.  The kids are off school, so DH is home today, and I'm home tomorrow.  Then we have the baby sitter part time the rest of the week.  I hate school breaks!

QOTD-I literally worry myself sick.  In fact, I can't ever NOT worry.  It's a thing with me.  Nan, if you figure out how to not do it, let me know!

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone.

Drinking my strong black coffee to get my day going.  Yes, it was a beautiful weekend.  Had most of the kids over yesterday along with extended family and we had a cookout, great conversation and played ManBags.

QOTD: Yes, I am a worrier but I don't normally let it take over.  When I'm stressed over something I do fine until 3 am, that is when I wake up and start worrying again and can't go back to sleep.  *sigh*

Have a great day

I still need to get back on schedule since having surgery and being in the hospital last week (not WLS related).  The pain is getting better.  However, I feel so puffy and I gained again.  grrr.  TIme for some protein coffee.

QOTD-I worry a lot!  I stay up most nights worry about various things.

Good morning Nan and everyone!
Hope everyone had a Blessed Easter, as so did I. Overate justa little, but now it's another day...
QOTD-I used to be a consumate worrier, but no more. I can't see what it does productively. I believe in prayer and giving things over to God. He has answered so many of my prayers. I just hand my worries to Him and He provides. He controls what I can't
My husband worries all the time, so I say that I don't need to 'cause he does it for me..

Good Morning Everyone!
What a great week-end for sure! Yesterday we went to my parents grave site and did a little clean up there. Will have to go back and plant some grass seed. As it looks terrible. New care takers and they don't do as good as job as the last ones.

Nan: Our DD that moved to TX had a job that had quarter close and worked the long hours also. And year end close was even worst! Now that she is in TX she doesn't have the long hours. So for her young family it was a good move.
Hey if you happened to look out your front window last night you might have seen a chubby bunny (me) and my hubby doing our 2 mile walk. The road we live on isn't smart to walk on. So we drive into town and park our car and start walking. :o)

QOTD: WORRY... Use to, but not so much anymore. Five years ago I was in a worry/stress rut for my sister and that lasted way to long(over a year). I ended up in the hospital and having to have open-heart surgery. Sure my weight was a major issue for my heart. But let me tell you the worrying/stress that I did sure didn't help my heart out either. My cardiologist along with DH and I talked and I now work every hard not to let things brother me. There are somethings in life you can't help worry about. I think about it but then work hard on moving on to something else.

No I didn't see you last night!  I should have been out there walking myself.  I haven't done anything since last Thursday!

Morning!  I too had a great weekend and I'm looking forward to a relaxing spring break week.  I tried some new Atkins baking mix I found this morning.  Loads of protein and only 1 sugar...I was so excited to have pancakes!  The taste was fine but a funny consistency to cook so they ended up burnt on the outside and raw on the inside...oh well, we'll try again another day!

QOTD:  I'm a worry wart.  It's partially a female thing, I know, but it's still something I wish I could turn to the off position and leave it there.

God Morning Michigan.  I'M  sitting here drinking water.  Need to hit the grocery store today.
Had a real nice weekend.  Saturday was spent with our family's.   Sunday a quiet day here.   WE didn't try church because of all the Easter lilies that  that I am allergic to and some disturbing behavior from our new little charges.
QOTD I do some worrying but  long ago figured out that it didn't solve the problems I worried about so now  I dint worry as much because I need the energy focused on my little ones.  That helps them more.

Hi Jo, sorry to hear about your issue with Easter lillies.  When we got a new pastor at our church, he also had problems with them, he would suffer through the whole service until he came to our church.  One thing our ladies always did to them, which I also do at home, is remove the yellow part as soon as the lilly starts to open, that is where the pollen is and if you get it out of there it normally stops that issue and the blooms last longer.
