What a blessed Easter morning . . it would have been beautiful to be at a sunrise service this morning.

QOTD- Working 16 hours but am thankful to be employed.  We were very busy with all the wind yesterday lots of people with out electricity.. . . we were also out of power here at the power company and working with a generator.

Happy Easter all!

I was up way too late last night (2am) and then back up earlier than I wanted to be because the cat wouldn't leave me alone (dumb cat).  So I'm back at the computer and will work on this design project for an hour or so this morning.  

It looks beautiful outside, but not sure how warm it's going to be. Warm enough for a summery dress?  We'll see.  Heading to church with my parents at 11:00.  Then we'll go over to their house for Easter dinner with the rest of the family.

Hoppy Easter,

 

Up early this morning.  I am not a late sleeper anymore.  I wonder how much has to do with the new hours at work or if I am resting better since wls and don't require as much sleep. 

QOTD:  The family is coming over to my house for dinner.  I have lots of things to do to get ready.  I enjoy everybody coming over.  Although I don't enjoy all the drama that comes with it.  Later after dinner I may take in a show.  Not sure what one yet.

Up early, made breakfast for DH and myself since I am still pre-op. 

QOTD:  First stop, clean kitchen and peel and slice pineapple for the pineapple upside-down cake I am taking to my son's for Easter dinner.
Second: Get outside and plant the pansies I bought yesterday. Then enjoy the rest of the day and/or help DH in whatever "go-fer" jobs he has for me. 

Good Morning and Happy Easter! It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day! I can't wait to see my granddaughter in her Easter dress. We will be at my mom's for dinner. She is making prime rib instead of ham, works for me! Here's hoping next Easter I will be firmly on the loser's bench! This week is pretty eventful for me. I have an endioscopy(sp) on Tuesday, a Psych Eval on Wednesday and I'm really hoping to get some more information from my surgeon on the next step!

well i started my morning of with a vanilla chobani .and getting my vitamins in . then let the wild child puppy out to terrorize the rest of the crew. i need to go feed my sisiters dogs cuz she is on spring break .and back to my moms for dinner which will be interesting because ham is a no no
so im gonna bring some canned chcken and microwave it to have with my jello salad and smashed taters.my family is great so i dont think it will be weird or anything.then im off to rockford to wok in home care for an elderly lady ill mostly make her dinner and keep her company for a few hours. im kinda sad every easter i have a cadbury cream egg. love them!!! lol so im gonna just avoid all candy aisles for the rest of april! have great family time everyine looks like the weather will be great for the easter egg hunts!

I'm nearing the home stretch, surgery on Wednesday.  I'm not going to Easter dinner, don't thing I can handle it.  But I am going over this evening to play poker.  My family says all the real food will be put away by then.  Not tempted by snack type foods, beer, or pop.

I've had  protein coffee the last few mornings.  Not too bad.  I've even given up the real stuff.  Decaf for a while.

May your time with your families bring you a much joy as my time with mine.
