Good Morning.

I have my psych eval this afternoon, geesh, I hope that's not an April Fool's Joke..:o).  I've searched this site and can't for the life of me find "protein coffee"  What is it that everybody is drinking?

QOTD--Not really an April Fools kinda person, don't recall  any pranks being played on me either.

Have a great day

Dang it!  I forgot it was April Fool's Day!  Every year I make something weird looking for breakfast and fool the boys somehow.  Today started off so bad with everyone being late and crabby and I just forgot about it.  Oh well, I'll trick them after school.

The best one I did was when I worked at a video store.  I worked closing shift the night before, so I rearranged the entire store for the people that came in the morning. I put all the wrong titles behind the wrong boxes, hid the ice cream in the back and filled the cooler in the front with only one kind of pop. I really messed up the "adult" video room, too, so they would have to spend a lot of time in there fixing it.  It was hilarious to me at the time, but if someone ever did that to me, I'd be so mad!!

I also made this for Shane when he was little and told him it was eel.  He's picky like me and won't eat anything, but I finally convinced him to.

I hope you all have a good day and don't get tricked!

Good morning all!

Just having some breakfast -- yogurt and sliced strawberries.  So the strawberries are cheap right now and I've been eating them the past few days.  But they seem tasteless to me.  I was complaining about their lack of flavor to a friend and she suggested slicing them, then sprinkling splenda on top and adding a bit of lemon juice... then letting them marry a bit before eating.  WOW! What a difference the lemon juice makes!  Today's berries actually are delicious and have flavor.

QOTD -- Just got an email from my boss this morning annoucing that "effective immediately" we're getting a 5% raise. HA!  3 minutes later another email came through saying Happy April's Fools Day.  Too bad the reality is that we're in the midst of a 5% pay cut.

Have a good day all

Hehehe... actually the responses coming in from all the directors who are hitting "reply all" are pretty hilarious.  Especially the ones who are part of the Budget Task Force - who proposed the pay cut in the first place and felt the sting of it in their own paychecks too.  We all knew it was a joke when it came through so it was pretty funny.

I have to make my coffee yet.  I am just recovering from surgery.  It has nothing to do with my WLS.  I went in Tuesday and got home late last night.

QOTD-I don't think anyone has ever pulled one on me and vice versa.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone.

Just getting ready to have lunch - pulled pork sandwhich.  It's the start of quarter close for me so I will be working tons of OT over the next couple of weeks.  But during the two weeks of close, there's a girl here at work that cooks meals for the entire department so I don't have to think about food for the next couple of weeks.  The problem is there's food from early morning to late evening so I need to NOT graze all day :-)

QOTD:  I can't really remember pulling any good ones on anyone - expecially not like you Brenda with the video store - that's hiarious!!  I remember when the kids were little and I was married to their dad and they'd switch out the sugar and the salt and have him eat something.

Have a good day everyone!

Hey Nan, what kind of company do you work for?  Every month or quarter end when you say you will be working more, I think of my own pathetic little month end...just union dues and sales and withholding to pay and I'm done.

Pam, I was going to mess with my co-workers, but we just had our first ever pay cut and now we have to pay for part of our benefits and I think they would lynch me before I got a chance to say "April Fool's!"

One year, my stupid ex had my youngest call me and tell me he was at his dad's and was hurt and alone.  Then I hear idiot in the background cracking up.  SO NOT FUNNY!!

My boss is telling me some kind of story about how the French celebrate today with some kind of fish....ugh.  She's boring, so I am not retaining anything she's saying.  I should go put a tack on her chair

OMG, you make me laugh....'put a tack on her chair'  HA!!

I work for Dow Chemical Co.  I am in the Financial & Statutory accounting department.  I have monthly closes that requre working late a couple of nights, but quarter closes are big.  We usually work late 2 weeks straight.   I work mostly with all of our benefit accounts (medical, dental, life, etc....)

I need to run some errands but I'm afraid if I go outside I won't want to come back in!!!

That is just downright stupid of your husband to pull a prank like that one....so not funny!
