Tuesday Full Moon Coffee
I didn't catch the moon this morning, but the sun was JUST coming up when I walked out the door this morning. And with the foggy sky, the sunrise was beautiful.
My mom (on spring break this week) and grandma headed out to New York yesterday (stopping in Canada for a casino break) and arrived at my Aunt's house last night. Dad's at home enjoying the peace, I'm sure. I'm on spring break from school - classes begin Thursday of next week - but I'm still at work like normal. Why can't we have spring break from work too?
QOTD -- Two Easter treats that I've indulged in over the past couple weeks - and have no guilt over whatsoever - is Peeps (traditional yellow chicks) and Cadbury Mini Eggs (the pure chocolate eggs with hard candy coating). But this year (as with the past 2 years since WLS) I've only had 1 box of Peeps (spread over a couple weeks) and 1 snack-size bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs (rather than 2 or 3 full size bags). I am disappointed though that I ate all the Peeps while they were still fresh - I much prefer Peep Jerky and should have left them open in the cupboard for a few weeks before eating them. Oh well, next year I'll be more patient so I can do Jerky.

Ohhhhhh...Pam....I love "Peep Jerky" too! LOL
Haven't bought any yet but I probably will.
The weather is beautiful here in Michigan and the sun is shining!! Wwhhhoooo!!
Plan on walking today and riding my bike when I get home. Now if only I get on my bike before Granddaughter Rozzie decides she wants to go with me. Ya know she just has to stop and rest a lot and I like to go man!!! Okay I'll let her do one country block 3.5 miles then do another just with me so I can go, go go!!! Let's hope the wind stays down.
QOTD: I'm being a control freak and not putting out an Easter Basket. Guess what? It didn't work, grand kids came home Sunday night and brought home each an Easter Basket from their new Step daddy's grandparents. Damn candy. So far I haven't touched any. If I did have an Easter basket it would be filled with jelly beans and Cadbury eggs and peeps of course.
Protein coffee for me again. I like it, so I don't really feel I'm in a rut. I posted a picture of the moon rising over the lake last night on my Facebook page. It was gorgeous!
QOTD: Love those malted milk eggs. I usually wait until after Easter and go buy boxes of Peeps at 50 cents a box, slit them open and put them in the pantry for a month or so. Love it when they get so chewy and last longer. I saw that Walgreen even had sugarless peeps, but they were twice the price for half the amount. What's with that, fewer ingredients, higher price. That sucks.

My kiddos are on Spring Break next week. Boy, they are glad to have a break from school. My youngest is in the play. They are doing The Wizard of Oz. Sorry, braggy mom moment there LOL
QOTD-sugar free peeps and 3 bites of grandma's coconut cake. If I ate any more than that, I would dump, and I don't dump on sugar! I also love any kind of Easter plant except lilies. The smell reminds me of a funeral home. Weird, I know.
Hope you all have a good day. I think I'll go outside for my 5 min. vitamin D boost!
QOTD: Easter must-have....well, in this house, it's all about Peeps. I'm ok with them...don't go crazy for them, but DH does. The other night, when I went to the grocery store, I asked him if he wanted anything in particular. His reply, "PEEPS!" My personal must-have is his aunt's home-made butterscotch pie. OMG...it is SO good. I can only handle a couple bites because it WILL make me dump and I don't dump very often on sugar. That will be my treat on Sunday, for Easter dinner at his aunt's house. Then I have to wait until Christmas for another few bites. LOL!
Side-note...I bought Dub some plastic easter eggs and we've been "practicing" for the grand Easter Egg Hunt at his aunt's house this Sunday. He's the youngest cousin so he has stiff competition. LOL! His family goes bonkers with it and will hide the eggs 3 or 4 times for the kids. We also have an egg toss. It's fun!

My normal fruit protein smoothie for breakfast. I'm nooked and it helps me get my protein in. I'm stuck in another stall, I hope it's over soon.
On a side note, I found calorie free salad dressing! I don't know how they did it but according to the label it's calorie free.
QOTD: My must haves are Cadbury Cream Eggs and black jelly beans. I haven't had either yet this year but will have 1 cadbury and a small bag of black jelly beans at some point this year I'm sure. My husband gave up sugar for lent so we really don't have anything in the house at this point. I'm not sure if I'm going to make him an easter basket or not yet.
Already had my protein coffee and three regular cups of coffee, so I'm fully caffeinated. Wen****er-walking yesterday; today I'm pooped and my knee and back hurt. Who says exercise gives you more energy?
So today I'm working on editing the book I'm doing on a freelance basis and I have to call unemployment so I can get paid Thursday. Yippeee, money coming in!
What's in my basket? Don't get a basket ... but I love black jelly beans and a white Easter bunny, Easter eggs, and anything chocolate (dark chocolate preferably). But I won't buy anything because there's no one here besides me and the cats ... and cats don't want chocolate ... they might eat the eggs, though. I do have some dark chocolate nuggets with almonds ... every now and then have two of those. That's my treat.
Have a good day.
I saw the moon last night it was big and bright! Pretty cool.
Q: Hands down Cadbury mini eggs are a must, I agree with Pam there. As far as peeps, ummm no thanks, you all can have mine I'm not into them. I used to love the spotted Robins eggs, but they are to sweet for me now, where the mini eggs are just yummy chocolate!
Enjoy the sun today.

I seen the moon last night when I got out of work. It was very pretty. I like full moons, reminds me of dh.
QOTD: I am not a peep person. I don't like the grit in my teeth from all the sugar. I am not much of a candy or chocolate person. I may snag a bite of a Reese's peanut butter egg though.
