Hope everyone has a nice day. Sundays for me are usually my "lazy day" and I stay in pj's all day. I had a nice weekend going out to a friends surprise birthday party. Let me tell you it was a different world to not be having an alcoholic beverage, I did some people watching and wow was it interesting.

This is my weekend to work for the hospital, but since I get to work from home it's not too bad.  Still in my PJs, too!  The house is quiet - hubby and kids are out to breakfast, dog and cats are sleeping.   It's rainy outside, so I just want to grab a cup of tea and not go anywhere!

Good Morning! I'm saying good bye for awhile to food today as I start my 14 day 3 shakes a day liquid diet. It's becoming a little more real today to me since I know the shakes are the prep for surgery! Hubby is out of town working (but i'm not complaining Sunday work is double time) I've got to take my step daughter back home and grocery shop for the rest of the family for the next 2 weeks should be a short trip they are all getting quick meals b/c i'm not cooking. I'll have to cook for the 1 and 3 year old but they will be simple meals. I have a big exam tomorrow in my International Relations class and a chapter assignment due in my access class along with 5 hours of class tomorrow. Hope everyones week all goes well!

Speaking about not drinking while others are, I have a funny story.....I used to live in Phx. and there's a river everyone goes tubing down, while of course getting pretty darn drunk....easy to do when the sun's beating down on you and your floating down a river :).  Anyways,  a friend of mine got a 4 wheel drive truck, so now we could drive to the river bed and watch the drunks go bye.  Well we noticed after a few weekends of going down there that we were drinking way to much so one Saturday we decided we would just take some pop and go w/o the alcohol for the day.  Well after watching people float by flashing each other, yelling, screaming and whooping it up we needed alcohol or we'd have to leave, so we bummed a few beers off our "neighbors"  LOL!!!  We NEVER went to the river w/o alcohol again!

Good luck on the liquid diet, it's not that bad, just keep your eye on the prize!

  Crappy weather here.

Yester day after doing the fun stuff I decided to go down the basement and deal with hoarder Heaven. And of course I got into the spring cleaning thing.

I washed wall, removed the ceiling tiles and vacummed the cobb webs and sorted the mass of just stick it down stairs boxes. I put the stuff in different sections of the horder haven room,  and stuck a computer printed sign on the wall above each pile. Keep, Sell, Undicided, Trash.
I filled 8 contractor bags of stuff we have been storing down there for years. One batch of Paid bill reciepts was dated 2005. OH MY! I spent 8 Hours nonstop cleaning and sorting. a I have realy negelcted that area cause of my excess weight and the pain I had going up and down the stairs.

Today I spent the entire day on the counch drifting in and out of sleep because I over did it and wore my A$$ out.So I am late for Sunday's cyber caffe!

Wow Mary!  It makes me tired just reading about all the work you did.  I'm sure it makes you feel good to have accomplished so much.  I need to get myself in gear.
