Hello all, I'm late getting on today.  I had a wonderful weekend.  We had the two grandboys all day Saturday and part of Sunday.  We went to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, I have been in this area for 18 years and this was my first time there.  What a gem it is.  It was great for both DH, me and boys.  They had open ****pits this weekend, the oldest grandson loved that, he waited in line to go on all the planes that were open.  I took younger grandson to the rides, he went into a couple but isn't good standing in line.  I wasn't going to go on any of the stuff they had but decided I didn't want to let them go into the enclosed one by themselves so I bought an armband and went on them with the boys, what a blast !  DH can't do them because he gets motion sickness really easy, he didn't even go into the 4D theater for the fear of it.  It will wipe him out for the full day if he does something like that.  Anyway, it was great, and we only went to half of it, didn't get to the other building.  Will have to do that some other time.  If you ever get to this area, you should go !  We spent about 4 hours there.  Then watched a movie with the kids on Saturday night called UP, I was a little disappointed, it was a kids movie but started out with sadness, death, etc.  OH well, we ate popcorn and cuddle with the kids (yes, I love to cuddle even though they are 6 and 9)

QOTD: Yes, I only eat JIF, I have never had the Koezee's pnut butter but have given out their jars of nuts for the holidays, they are the greatest.

Have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone!

Yay for a short week at work this week and a long weekend.  It's almost camping time!  I'm getting so excited.

Breakfast for me was a fruit smoothie with protein powder for me.  That's usually my breakfast every day.  Have jus****er in my cup now.

QOTD:  I only buy Jif peanut butter but am thinking I need to try this Koezee's.  And I only buy Minute Maid Pulp free orange juice.  My husband only buys Tim Hortons coffee.  I know there are more but I can't think of them right now.

Good morning... ur... afternoon!

I can't believe it's already almost 1pm and I'm just now getting a chance to check OH.  Typical Monday, I guess.  Lunch will be pot roast, carrots and potatoes slow-cooked in the crockpot over the weekend.

QOTD -- Yes. I'm a "Pen Snob" and a "Lettuce Snob" and freely admit to both.  I scoff at iceburg lettuce and sometimes even romaine if it's not up to snuff.  I prefer mixed baby greens - organic, please.  As for the pen thing... I don't know what it is, but I just need to have a pen that writes really good.  I've got so many pens in my house that are "rejects" - it's not even funny.  I recently discovered a brand carried at Big Lots that I'm loving right now.

Have a good day all!
Pam

Really made me smile, the pen thing.  I'm your sister on that one.  When we moved we had so many rejects, I gave them to my DIL who teaches high school English.  She took them to school and has them in her classroom so the kids have no excuses!  If I happen to use a pen at the Dr office or somewhere I either ask if I can keep it, or just conveniently walk off with it.  My bad...
It is what it is.

LOL I unconsciously take a pen from one person and then hand it off to someone else.

Like when I am signing a credit check at the store  I borrow my DH's pen then try to hand it back to the cashier. LOL

He has caught on and now he grabs the pen as soon as I am done. LOL

He is a pen snob too. Likes certain kinds of writing pens.

Hello All,

I bought a new pair of running shoes today.  I hate shoe shopping.  I have bad feet so I try to stay ahead of the game.  I went to the gym today, just a light work out today.

QOTD:  Food wise I am only a snob about Minute Made Orange juice with extra pulp.  When it comes to most everything else I am a real snob.  Buy quality or don't buy at all is my motto.  My kids love it because they get good stuff for Christmas and birtdays.  I would rather not have something than buy cheap and get mad at it when it stops working right.

Afternoon Deb and everyone!
I had a lazy weekend, which is just what I needed.  I'm glad it's going to be warm this week.  DH and I are going to play hooky on Good Friday and hang out in the nice weather.

QOTD-I'm a snob about everything in my life.  Not just food, but EVERYTHING.  I'm snobby about people, clothes, laundry soap, the kind of post its I use at work, etc. etc. etc.  In case you haven't noticed, I'm totally high maintenance.  Oh yeah, and I'm a baseball snob.  I'll only watch my beloved Tigers and my son's team.  But here's the thing about my snobbery-I don't let it affect anyone around me.  I make sure I can afford my quirky things, and I don't impose my beliefs on anyone else.  So I'm nice and prissy!  LOL

Hope you all had a good day!

Skipped coffee this morning.

QOTD-I will only burn Partylite candles.  My kids jeans have to be Old Navy (fit best IMO).  That's all I can think of right now.
