Well today is the start of my liquid diet and the sad part was my daughter got me up super early this rmorning and I wasn't ready to be up so I thought well i'll just go get me a sf non fat latte or mocha ....ugh then I rememebered I can't :( I'm on 620 calories a day no extra calories allowed 3 shakes that's it. I have a big exam today and have yet to even read the chapters let's pray the kids let me study ( that would be a first)

QOTD: I'm a snob about alot of things it's just because i'm quirky i'm a snob about clothes and it's not so much the name brand of them as how good the marteral is I hate cheap material that fades, stains don't come out of and don't last so usually so I do buy most name brands but some brands are terrible like Old Navy cute clothes.. but cheaply made they never stay nice for along time.If I buy clothes from wal mart for my kids they usually only last 1 wearing because stains don't come out of them and they fade after 2 washings. But you can go to the Oshgosh/Carters outlet and pay the same price if not cheaper and they can spill anything on them and I can gurentee it will me out and their still in good enough shape to be passed down at the end. Also I am a Jif only PB

I know what you mean about clothes.  I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to shoes and clothes!  I'd rather pay a little bit more for something I know is going to last! That's not to say I only buy EXPENSIVE, name brand only clothes.   I shop sales.  And also, not every name brand is quality.  So, I get being picky about materials and what not.

Good morning Deb and fellow Michiganders!
I'm sipping on Atkins shake mixed with coffee. Going for a walk around the hospital with Julie and Chris during break time...about 2 miles. Looking forward to spin with you at 5pm!!
Get that bike fixed girlfriend!

QOTD: I'm a snob when it comes to wonderful full flavored stuff...like cream cheese...not the fake stuff for me. I'm a snob with Protein bars, I miss my twisted and nothing comes close...sigh!!!!

Had a great weekend.  My brother came up and spent the weekend with us.  We haven't had any rain up here like you've been getting downstate.  Thank goodness.  The next 7 days are going to be sunny and by next weekend it's going to be in the 70's.
Made a golden mango, honeydew, Greek yogurt and vanilla protein powder smoothie for breakfast this morning.  A real change to my normal protein coffee.
QOTD:  No, I'm not really a snob about much of anything.  I do only buy Jif Peanut butter.  No Starbucks for me, it tastes burned to me.  I do like Dunkin Donuts coffee, but usually buy Maxwell House or Folgers.  Not a coffee connoisseur at all!  Regular, Decaf, doesn't matter to me.  I do like the orange juice with lots of pulp, and Tropicana is my fav, but price is a major factor too.  I must have real oj tho, not the 'sunny D' crap.
What is Koezee peanut butter?  do you find it at the specialty store?  Just googled it.  You can get it at Zingerman's in Ann Arbor or on-line.  $8.00 a jar.

It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

Koezee's is the absolute best peanut butter. You can got to their website and it is only $5.00 a jar. Once you eat it, you can't go back to Jif... I found it only in 2 stores in Kalamazoo..

Good Morning Michiganders and everyone else too.

My cup is empty cause I already consumed my protein chocolate coffee and a one of my homemade protein meal replacement bars. They must be pretty good cause I had a whole tupperware container and this am there were only two left. Someone sure got a lot of bran and fiber in there diet. LOL!

QOTD: NOnot a food snob. I like to try different brands but it it dosen't taste good to me I will never buy it again. Or eat it again for that matter, So I send a lot of thing to my sister's, who has an army of eaters who are not picky. LOL

Hi ... I have to admit to being a coffee snob also. I like Starbucks Casi Cielo coffee but you can only get it once a year (in January) ... it's very good and very bold. I have a Keurig brewer too and use either Green Mountain espresso or Timothy's espresso ... extra bold ... or I like some of the flavored ones too ... Gloria Jean's mudslide is one of my favorites. I like a lot of the Green Mountain and Timothy's too.

As for peanut butter, used to like Skippy's crunchy but then when I moved to Michigan couldn't find it for awhile, so I switched to Jif. Now I like that. I have heard of Koeze's because I'm in the Grand Rapids area, but I like extra crunchy peanut butter. I tasted it once and it was good, but I like the crunchy type.

There are several things I'll pay more for because I think it's better than anything else ... food, clothes, beer (Bell's Oberon, for one) ... I'd rather get my money's worth than buy something cheap that I won't like.

Not much going on here ... applying for jobs, checking on the sale of my condo (nothing happening), going to the pool today, trying to keep busy. It'll be nice to have spring later this week. Oh, and tomorrow I have to check in with unemployment.
