Surgery 4-7-10
First I would like to thank all of you for letting me into your lives these past six months as I traveled through this new journey. I've learned much from reading your posts.
I'm scheduled for surgery next week at Wyandotte Hospital, Dr. Hendrick.
I started my journey last September. I attended the orientation at Henry
Ford. Then I attended the orientation at St. Mary's. I had most all of my testing done. Then
a couple of weeks ago, I saw that Wyandotte Hospital was now a Center of Excellence. I attended their orientation on 3-25-10 and had my surgery date before I left that day.
I'm confident in my decisions based on the knowledge that I have gained.
Today my family helped me clean out all the food that won't be part of my life again for several months and some foods that won't ever be allowed back in to life.
Things are moving fast. I just hope I have enough time to get everything done that I need to get done.
Again, thank you for your kind hearts. I look forward to your help and guidance.

congratulations and good luck
don't worry too much about what you don't get done. It will always be there when you get home from the hospital.
are you having RNY lAPBand or Sleeve?
Your going to do just fine and it will be here before you know it.
Hope you will continue to be part of the Michigan Forum when you get Home.

Congratulations and good luck on your surgery! Your day will be here before you know it!
There's so much information on these boards just by reading daily posts. I remember when I was pre-op and I stated reading these boards daily to learn as much as I could. And after my surgery I continued to read daily. The support here is great!
Good luck to you!
