New to Michigan

I need a support group!!!  I'm 4 months and I've never had a support group.   Just wondering if anyone knows of one around the Lansing area?!  Thanks in advance!

I'm starting my liquid diet on Monday and surgery the 12th but I live right down the road from you in Potterville (really close to Charlotte) My support group is in lansing last Monday of the month I know there is another one in Grand Ledge but I can't remember what days it was and that one is open. But anything you need to know let me know I'm really close.

Hey girl!  I obviously didn't see this til after I messaged you lol.   But thank you!  I go to school on Monday nights :(  I'm assuming the meetings are in the evening?  If you know or hear of anything on the weekends or during the day, let me know.. or maybe we can meet up for lunch sometime and you can be my support group lol.  It sucks being up here and not having anyone I know going through this.  Thanks for responding and good luck with the liquid diet, I know it's roughhhh!

Kati. I don't know of any support groups that Meet in your area. 

but If you check in on OH MI everyday in our cyber coffe` I am sure you get plenty of support here.

Everyday we have a discussion of some time will be titled
Monday something, Tuesday something, weds something, Thursday something Friday something and so on

we Call it  our coffee chat.

There is usually a question of the day (QOTD) and everyone that feels like it chimes in.
Don't matter when or what time of day you drop in every one will get to know you and you will get to know everyone.
The people on the Michigan forum (MI OH) are very nice.

Hey! I would love to get together especially since we live so close and both have children. I'm very invovled in alot of mom's stuff in the area and would love to share as well. (I'm in a few different mom's groups and events) I have class on Monday nights as well I'm at LCC and Ferris State University duel enrolled. I have class Mon and Wed nights so this semester I won't make it until May. I have a couple other friends who one had her surgery in December so she is almost 4 months out too we talked about getting together we've gotten together once for coffee at Biggby's. We talked about doing taste testing recipes and pouch friendly meals/family friendly meals.

Sorry I haven't been checking this board so much lately.

Theresa is coming to my place Tuesday night.  PM me if you'd like to come too.  Nothing formal planned just get together to chat since her surgery is coming up.  I'm thinking something like 6:30.  It will still be light out so kids can play in my back yard and we can chat on the deck (is it going to be nice?)

definately need to schedule another get together.... its getting nice out maybe we could do park day or something then those with kids could let them run and play while we chatted... lol
