Sold!

I've been away for a while.  We went downstate to sign papers.  We sold our other house (our rental property) in Warren.  We were so lucky.  God smiled on us.

We spent two days with our friends going to Estate sales and just having fun.  We spent Sunday with our son and DIL and took them out to dinner.  Then, Monday, we stopped at our other son and DIL's on the way home, to see them and our grandson.  I made dinner and we had a great visit.  They lost their little dog last Thursday and it was really sad to go there and not see him.  The kids are having a real hard time.  He was their baby before Joshua came along.  Jay wants to get another and fill the void, but Jessica isn't ready to fill that void yet.  She's still grieving...understandable.  Josh is just a wonderful baby and has lots of smiles for his Gram!  Melts my heart.

I'm really happy to be back to my routine.  I missed my OH buddies.  Gary says I'm addicted to the computer now.  I guess it's my transfer addiction eh?

Hey Jan, congrats on selling your place!  Sorry to hear about your kid's dog.  It is hard losing a pet! 

Glad to have you back!  You could have worse transfer addictions - LOL!

Ya, it's really hard on them.  He was their baby before the baby came along.

I am so glad you were able to sell the house.  It is such a rough market.  This addiction is better than the others I can think of. 

Like I said.  God smiled on us.  And to add icing on the cake, our accountant sent me an e-mail that said we had way overpaid on our taxes, so we'll be getting back a good chunk of change from Uncle Sam.
Right now, life is good for us.  I told Gary to buy a lottery ticket!  :)

congrats on the house and the taxes. You guys just retired this year, so next year be prepared for the TAX return shock. Just a warning. 

Sorry about the little doggy, It is hard cause they are just like having little children. It is so heartbreaking.

Tell Gary it is not computer addiction it  is on line daily support for your food addiction and WLS. LOL

Sorry to hear about your grand dog.  My 2 dog's are getting old w/ allot of health issues, I don't know how much longer we'll have either of them.  Sam's 15 and Buddy's 10, but he has diabetes, so he's aging faster than the 15 year old.

I like your transfer addiction, just tell Gary "no calories"!!! :)

Congrats on selling the house.....I know what you are saying about the death of a pet...We lost our lab last October right after we moved into the new house. My little Lhasa is grieving terribly for he r buddy...she looks all over the yard for him...She is old and pretty blind, so we will be losing her soon too....

And as far as being addicted to the computer....Its just our love that keeps you coming back.....Tell your hubby he is just jealous of all of us....   

You're right.  I do think he's jealous.  He says ever since I lost all this weight I'm going bonkers.  Not quite sure what that actually means, but I'm cooling it on the computer for a while.  Just cooling, not quitting.
