I posted this on the VSG forum, but thought I'd post here in the MI forum too!

I got a surgery date on Friday, my surgery is April 16 w/Dr. Foote from GHP.

It literally took 2 hours from the time they submitted my paperwor****il i got the approval from my insurance company. Everything has been happening fairly quickly. I just attended the Orientation to start this whole process on Jan. 25..so it hasn't even been 2 mths yet.

On April 2nd I start the preop diet. I go back on April 9th to see how the diet is working for me, and then the surgery on the 16th. I believe the surgery is at St. Marys in Grand Rapids.

I'm having the Vertical Sleeve!

I'm so excited!
