Pain-Free at last!!!!

I posted a few days ago about my feet and plantar fasciitis.  About my being afraid of how the heck i was going to walk after surgery when I have crippling pain.

WELL, I went to a new foot doctor yesterday (after an unpleasant experience last October I figured I was doomed to be in this pain forever).  Anyhow = I got cortisone in BOTH feet and it did not hurt!  He numbed my heel first with a quick pick - and then he wrapped my feet.  WHAT A difference.  I had no pain yesterday - I could walk just fine after getting up from sitting for any length of time.  I am so happy about this.  THIS MORNING I could walk without hobbling and wincing.

I am going for physical therapy and I am going to get orthotics.  My feet are as flat at pancakes. 

And Jan, if you read this, no I didn't go to Benenati - my PCP recommended Shores Podiatry - THEN a friend of mine who I work with at school is having feet trouble and she is going there and highly recommended them.  I was able to get in right away.  And omg I am so glad I did.  I can't believe the difference!!!!!

What a blessing, Suzy - I'm so glad you got the right treatment and don't have to deal with that pain anymore.  Take a walk today, cuz I hear it's gonna get colder and cloudy very soon!
