Is Protein Bar Okay?

Just got back from the grocery store and picked up a protein bar that looked promising, but haven't heard too much here about these.

This one is EAS AdvantEdge, chocolate peanut butter crisp.  It has 240 calories, total fat 8 g, sugar 1 and sugar alcohol 1, protein 17 g, with 4 g net carbs (?).

Does this sound okay?  I like the idea of this, since I really don't have hunger and only eat to get in my protein.  I know it sounds kind of high in calories, but really I would probably eat half the bar at a time.

What do you think???

Thanks, Mary - I feel better knowing you think they would be OK and even bought some for yourself!  It is a chore now to get in enough protein, since I don't want to eat, so this would be a really convenient way to munch a bar and get in protein.

You may want to try the OH Yeah! bars too.  I think I got them at  Meyers. and I think that  Wal mart has them too.

Jus****ch the sugar grams. some bars are very high. And Meal replacement bars are high in colories and sugar too.

I like the Atkins Protein bars too.

I love the OH yeah bars.  I don't eat them often, but they are yummy.  I like the chocolate one the best.
