Hi everyone!

I've had my vitamins and protein hot chocolate.  I'm now thinking of what to have for lunch.  I made corned beef and cabbage yesterday (couldn't wait anymore), so I have leftovers of that.

QOTD - My grandfather was Irish.  I hate to be a downer but although I didn't usually celebrate St. Patrick's Day, we did have a celebration because my second son was born on March 17th.  He was so proud of that for some reason.  Unfortunately, he drowned in 1995, so now it is just a bittersweet memory for me.   Sorry....

I know that this is difficult for you. And I will be sending you positive thoughts on St. Patty's day!
God Bless you.

The weekend was sunny and warm in the UP.

QOTD-I always celebrate for and with the kids.  I make them this lime sherbert punch and make all green food.  Sometimes I buy them trinkets (all green of course).  Pretty broke this year with buying the house so not sure what I will actually do.  We are not Irish though.  Just a good time for all.

Afternoon all,

Just finished lunch.  I have such a hard time getting on here anymore, work has been very busy.

Q:  I'm a bit Irish (grandfather was Irish).  I used to celebrate it all the time when I was younger.  You know all those bars w/ that lovely green beer was calling :), but I rarley wear green.....it's a color that I look like crap in.

Dang!  where did the morning go?  A quick little 30 minute meeting lasted 2.5 hours!  And here it suddenly the middle of the afternoon already.

It's finals week.  I'm ready for tonight and tomorrow... Wednesday's test isn't looking so hot. Need to buckle down and get my crap together for that one.

QOTD --- I'll be with Nan and Kristy (and others from the support group) doing the 5k race on Sunday before the parade.  And apparently, Kristy's taking us out for Irish Stew afterward.  WooHoo!
