I just put that in the calculator.

You can use low sodium Turkey ham and ti knocks it down alot.

Good Morning!

I am on days this week seems weird not to be working a 16 hour day.  I will have a chance to cook dinner tonight and spend some time for myself.
I had protein hot chocolate this morning.

QOTD- Everyone in Bay City is Irish on St. Patty's Day.  My town goes crazy, huge parade, every bar in town has a party, and they have a great 5k race/walk.  The Bay City Support Group is walking the 5k again this year.  There is a little bar in Bay City that makes the best Irish Stew on Sunday . . . I look forward to it every year.

Enjoy the day!

I miss the craziness of Bay City over this holiday.  We used to take the kids to the parade every year and boy there were some cold cold years.  I don't think my son will take his little one to it this year, at 1 y he is a little to young to enjoy but I bet next year he will be there !  Which bar is the one with the best Irish stew?  There are so many bars there and they all become Irish this week....LOL.

Yes, I am Irish.  Don't celebrate it too much any more, but love love love the corned beef and cabbage.  Hate Guinness.  No ill effects from it either.
Today will be a mostly do nothing day.  I woke up with a headache.  I've had my protein coffee and vitamins and am now working on ho****er.  I know, weird, but sometimes I just like to drink ho****er rather than tea or coffee.  It seems to go down better in the winter than cold water.
Hope everyone has a wonderful 'spring' day.

I had my coffee (I'm still pre-op) 1/2 reg, !/2 decaf, and have just been hanging out. I need to move in a few. I'm not Irish (Danish) but celebrated St. Patricks day as a kid out of self defense. Helped my kids out, too. Otherwise I don't get into it.

My DH has an appointment later with our pcp, he discovered his BS at 261 before dinner last night so I made him take extra med and refused to let him have carbs for dinner. He was still at 161 this a.m. He refuses to be careful so I have made it a practice to not be his mommy, but will be sure the Dr. gets the whole story today. You can't push a rope. He is very supportive with me having wls to improve my health, but get's really dense about his own.

It was an ugly weekend in Mi. but a whole lot better than 2 weeks ago! My outlook is really improved. I was even pulling weeds in my garden last week.  OK, so I'm really desperate, but now I know I've survived winter.
Have a great Monday out there!

Good morning everyone,

Had a big mug of coffee with SF Caramel creamer and splenda earlier this morning and just finished some cottage cheese and yogurt.

I sent in all of my daughter's appeal information on Friday (faxed it) si of course I'm on pins and needles now and don't feel like eating.  I just hope the appeal goes well !  The stress of waiting for a decision is killing me.

QOTD:  I don't usually do much for St. Patty's day other than maybe wear green.  I am going to do the 5K race in Bay City with the support group on Sunday so I'm looking forward to that!!

Have a great day everyone.
