To see other patients who had Featherstone, you can click on his name (it's a hyperlink in the info under your avatar) --- that will take you to his profile page and you can read reviews from his patients. Then those patients will be "clickable" too, so you can send them a PM or look at their profile for more information. Same thing with Munson -- you can probably find him in the surgeon listing at the top of the page (under the search box at the top right).
As for questions. Ask away! We've all been through it and can help you anticipate what to expect or answer any questions or worries you might have. And join us for coffee chat each morning - we all usually make an appearance to start out day together with a bit of conversation.
You might also want to head over to the RNY forum .... lots more active and also a friendly group of folks.

I didn't have Dr. Featherstone, nor did I have my surgeon at Munson. I now live in Interlochen and am trying to get Dr. Kam to do my follow-up. I'm having my records sent from Henry Ford down state up to him in TC. If you want to talk or meet for lunch pm me and I'll give you my number so you can give me a call. I'm now 8 months out from surgery. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. Keep coming to this forum and ask questions. There is a wealth of knowledge here.

Hi~I just had to let you know that my husband and I had Dr. Kam from that office. Absolutely wonderful people there. Had our RNY's done at Munson, it was the best experience. When my husband had his, I stayed at Munson House, which was much cheaper than a hotel. It is right by the hospital. Just can't say enough good things about the whole experience! I hope this helps you some!
