well the first few days i really wasnt that tired in fact i had a sleep aid tuesday night at hospital .i was one of the rare who wasnt groggy from anesthetic it woke me up actually..now im getting in regular sleeping pattern and getting naps in as well.right now im sipping on my vicodine/tylenol elixir im an hour late taking it cause i was sleeping.once i get this down im going to try and get another outside walk in not sure if raiin will let me otherwise laps around the kitchen.i made some protein jello for my dinner so i will eat that after my walk .my pain tolrnce is preety high but definate pain around my incision areas when i get up or sit down .kinda feels like yah got gut punched a few to many times.thanks for all the great people here its nice to be able write down how im feeling i hope it will help others who soon will be going thru surgery.BETH

Glad you're on the mend.  I found the walks really helped me.  I seen a robin Wednesday, more signs of spring.

good morning Beth,

you seem to be doing great with your recovery.  dont think i am being a know it all but try not to take pain meds before you walk.  it masks the pain and i think you should have some pain so  you know when your body needs to stop.  if not, its too easy to overdo it and the mending might take longer.  I went christmas shopping a week after a major surgery and ended up ripping out stitches and it took longer for me to heal.

great job with the liquids btw.

My surgery is scheduled for April 12th and so I appreciate your posts so I have a good idea of what to expect the following days afterwards.
