Hi Mary,

I suspect everyone is out enjoying the weather.  Isn't it great?

I received a sample of Isopure today.  It tastes very good but it seems like it has too much sugar.  I'll have to look at the numbers more closely when I have my glasses on.

I know this sounds silly, but the one product I really like is the Calcet Citrate Creamy Bites.  They are lemon flavored and very good.  When I run out of them, I have to use my chewables and I have to take two large tablets at once to get 500mg, so yeah, I like my calcium chews.

I'll see you at the meeting tonight.  You know it's at the CAC building, right?

Hi Mary,

Sorry for being late on the posting, but I was outside most of the day.  Went for a bikeride with my boxer at my side, then cleaned my car and then went on another bikeride with the kid and the dog and then went to the park.  About the park....  I know now that it was a STUPID idea, but....  I told my daughter to take Leo on the slide.  That dog loyally followed her onto the play structure, up the steps to the spiral slide.  He got no further than the first curve and over the side he went, paws flailing and all.  He landed with a thud and then jumped right up and ran over to my daughter who just came down the slide.  OMG, I was freaking out.  Mother and Dog Owner of the Year right here!  Especially if my daughter went over the side with him instead of letting go of his leash!   Please dont call the ASPCA on me.  I love my dog and he wont be going on play structures anymore!

QOTD:   I am stumped here, I cant think of anything I use now that I didnt before.....

hello Roger
I am sure you can attend the support group meetings at Henry Ford main. Even before you have surgery. Email Annette the dietitian. She will give you the details. Her card is in your big blue binder. They have a meeting at the center for Athletic Medicine, Where you had your orientation, the second Tuesday of the month.

I am sure you will find the support you need on the MI OH forum. This is a great group of WLSer, of all degrees, Pre-op, and Post- op. from new be to seasoned veteran. There experiences are vast. And I know from experience that they or someone will come to your aid if you post a question. And you will learn a lot from or daily cyber coffee. But Always remember the number 1  rule is always follow Doctors Orders. This is not a medical advice board. It is about sharing experiences and finding understanding from WLS just like us.
And believe me these folks are apt to talk about anything and everything.

As far as Meeting that special someone "My mother always said EVERY POT HAS A LID" and I believe that when the time is right all lonely souls will meet their mate!
Just take one step at a time.
