She is doing well. The 3 hour drive took us more like 5. She is confident and upbeat. tender but not in extreme pain. Not yet ready to sit in front of the computer yet but soon.

RNY ~ Wednesday, March 3, 2010 ~ weight morning of surgery: 279 pounds
7 Months out to the date ~ Total loss of 100 pounds!! October 3, 2010: 179 pounds
February 1, 2011 ~ weigh 146 pounds

I saw your post and noticed that we have the same surgeon. How did things go for you? Doc Schneider seems very nice and helpful, but firm too. Any experiences you can share with me? I see him this week to schedule my surgery. I think I'll have my RNY at the end of this month.
