Last Thurs (Mar 4) was my 2 yr surgeversary!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

im getting VERY frustrated however with my knee/ankle still not being healed after my fall December 5th~  my excercising has almost halted not being able to get out and walk as much as i was~ thus my weight-los****ting a brick wall!!!

i havent lost ANY weight in over 6-9months and im SO upset about not being able to get insurance for bariatric coverage (my work group plan doesnt cover anything but GENERAL medical-- like ER visits-- i was told few months ago that Individual policies no longer cover Bariatrics... UGHHHHHHHHHH

i cant self-pay cuz who can afford a GIANT surgery??!?!?  I will be applying tho for HealthOne Financial, but they want $149 Program Fee???... um, WHAT?!?  which is based on your credit report im sure... maybe i should start a collection... HAHAH

i need some words of encouragement before i go out of my mind :)~

Jennifer,
You have done amazingly well. You have lost over 200 lbs. Yes your journey, like mine, is not over yet, in fact it never will be over. This is a life long journey. Now it is time to practice the old catch phrase "move to lose". You need to get into a good habit of adding more exercise every day. Not big work outs that discourage people to quit, just little things in changing habits. Take the stairs when it is just one flight, look for a parking space a bit farther away when you go out. Little things like that help us get accustom to more activity. I make it a point to add just one extra step every day. The little extra steps add up and before long you are not only losing weight, you don't even feel like you are really exercising.

 Jennifer,

I don't know if these are encouraging words or not,, just want you to look at all that you have accomplished. You have done a fantastic job. Having physical limitations like your knee and ankle healing does cause a set back and, I understand the part that you want to finish what you have started. It is great when everything falls in line and we are able to get what we need when we want it.  but we all have different "speed bumps" that come up and may cause set backs in our original hopes and plans.
I don't know exactly how you hurt your legs and what type of limitations you have, but while the insurance issues get worked out, try to remain positive, happy with what you have and continue to follow the guidleines given to you 2 years ago with your original surgery. Maybe work on some upper body exercises while the lower body heals. Is swimming an option? ( I don't knwo if you are in a cast so that is just s generalization.) WHile you are waiting don't give up and think abotu what you "Want".make sure you follow the diet guidleins and try not to stress out. It is frustrating. Be thankful for what you have .
Blessings.
