Question for everyone

I took a good look at myself in the mirror this morning and yuk.  Im not worried about a tummy tuck, but the legs.  Oh my.  I would not be caught dead in a pair of shorts.  All the loose skin hanging around the knees and all the dimples.  Anyone else having this problem?  Is there something they can do about that?  I cant imagine what it could be without cutting your leg up the side.

Other then that I can live with all the sagging, hanging skin.  Im just wondering about summer and no shorts?  Yikes!!!!!

since i didnt get a LBL, i just wear cotton capri pants and its cool enough for the hot summer days.  or just wear what you want and screw everyone else ;)

I have always worn shorts even at 364 pounds.  My theory is, if you don't like me to bad for you.  I love shorts and tank tops.  I even take my 8 year old to the pool and sit in the water.  The "naturally thin people"just waive at their kids.

Yep, there is something they can do. Basically it is cutting your leg up the sides, they just do it on the inner thigh rather than the outerIt's called a Medial thigh lift. It definately improves the look. Depends on how bad they are as to the results. I had mine done in Oct. and I'm happy w/ them. The sagging hanging skin is gone. I still have some extra by my knees but I've always had huge thighs and don't think anything is going to totally change that. Other than that I don't think there is any way to help it.

I didn't have any plastic surgery anywhere. I had knee replacement and have an even bigger scar down my right leg. I just wear capris or crop pants. I feel much more comfortable with that.

Good post. I often wonder the same thing. I plan to start swimming once some of the weight comes off which means swimsuit time! I think after my struggles and all the time and money it takes to go through this process if I have some flabby skin then so be it. I'm going to showcase my successes!
