Jan ~ Thanks for the heads up on adding more water.  I still haven't tried any of my samples.  I'm waiting till after surgery.  I'm not sure what mine is called, but I get mine from Walmarts too (the ones that I've been using.  Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla).  I have enjoyed experiencing with them.  Funny how our tastes change after surgery.  LOL    Well, thanks for posting and thanks for keeping me in your thoughts on Wednesday!!  I'll post when I can.  God Bless!!

Sally ~ Your suggestion of Fuzzy Navel and Punch in blender sound good!!  I will definitely try that.  Thanks.  I'll have to try the Chocolate Truffle idea too.  I love hot chocolate, so it might hit the spot and have protein too!!  Thanks for wishing me good luck and I'll be right there with you soon on that bench!!  God Bless!!

Pam ~ I love Crystal Lights, so I should like these then.  Thank you for helping me out on this one.  I was clueless.   I am so glad I can come here and get help!!  God Bless!!

Edie ~ Thank you for wishing me luck, too!!  Please keep me in your thoughts Wednesday!!  Johnny said he will try to get on here and update you all for me!!  I hope he will figure it out!!  LOL  My luck, he'll post on a different forum!!  LOL     Thank you for thinking of me!!

Nan ~ I am so glad you took the time to wish me luck!! That was sweet of you.  I am pretty confident everything will be just fine.  But, still keep me in your prayers/thoughts!!!  I'll post when I can, but my hubby will try to get on here to update!!  LOL  God Bless!!

Jody ~ Thanks for the help on this Nectar issue for me!!  LOL  I am so glad I had you all to help me out.  I have heard so much about the Fuzzy Navel so I'm excited to try it.  I like your idea on the Roadside Lemonade ~ I will try it.  Thank you for taking the time to respond.  God Bless!!

Rose ~ So you will be at Barix then tomorrow  (wednesday)???  I agree with you, I really like Dr. Poplawski too.  Ann Arbor is tricky for us, the street names are small and we seem to keep missing them till we pass the lights, but we made it to our hotel so that's good!!  LOL
That is cute about your name and our city!!  You can come to Rose City any time.  It's a cute little town!! We love it out in the woods.  Thank you for replying!!    Is the Raspberry Lemonade a flavor Nectar comes in, or did you make up your own drink using Nectar? It sounds good.   God Bless!!

Sandi ~ Hi!!  Thanks for wishing me good luck!!  Keep me in your thoughts, ok?!!   Take care and God Bless you too!!

Congrats on your surgery!  I hope you are feeling well soon!

A tip for using Nectar that I found helpful was to purchase a couple Blender Bottles.  They carry them at Barix or at GNC.  These have a spherical whisk in them that works AWESOME for protein drinks!

I am happy to know you got your surgery.

I am sorry I could not get to the hospital to visit you like I wanted too. unfortunately I am still recuperating from my pneumonia/ear infection/flu and I am sure you don't need any of that.

Nectar is a good protein drink but it is expensive too.  I have mixed my Caribbean cooler one in apple juice , orange juice, and milk, done it in a shaker with a spoon and in a blender with a banana too.

I have the lemon ice tea one and only like it when I make scoop in some cool water then mix in some hot it is kind of like a hot cup of tea with lemon. I might like it better if it did not have the lemon flavor. Taste like instant ice tea with lemon. icky!

i notice that when I used a blender to mix my protein drink it got a little to foamy for me.
So you might not like that after you first have surgery.

Good luck and God Bless

Mary
