Nectar protein questions
Well, my surgery is Wednesday. My hubby and I are going down to our hotel room in Ann Arbor on Tuesday!! YAY!! I can't believe it.
My questions is: I bought some samples of Nectar protein drinks and I'm not sure how to use them. LOL I got some like Caribbean Cooler, Fuzzy Navel, Natural Fruit Punch, Roadside Lemonade, and more. If you all have Nectar, how do you use them? I use protein mixes from walmart right now and I mix with 8 oz milk. But, some of these flavors just don't sound right adding to milk.
Then, with Nectar protein, do I put in a blender or just mix with spoon? It says on one sample I got in my sample bag from Barix it says "Nectar mixes instantly with a sppon". I am just used to using blender so I don't know what I'm doing with these Nectar samples.
I haven't tried any of them yet as I am waiting to try them after surgery. I hear taste buds change, so I wanted to wait till after surgery to know if I'll like them and then buy the big tubs of them.
So, any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Take care and God Bless,

I use some of the NEctar proteins. The Fuzzy Navel, and Punch I use a blender with water and ice to make a frozen type drink, love them. I also had the Caribbean Cooler, not as happy with that one, it is mainly a coconut flavor, I like coconut but not in a drink. I mainly use the Chocolate truffle and mix it with a little of cold coffee or water till it is smooth (use a small wisk or blender) then poor in hot coffee, makes it taste like you are drinking hot cocoa, that is my morning drink almost every day !
Good Luck and see you on the losers bench soon!
I've never used them but I wanted to wish you good luck Wednesday!!!
Have your hubby update us on how your doing.
Good luck,

My favorite is Fuzzy Navel. The Roadside Lemonade is pretty good too and would probably taste awesome with some raspberry Crystal Lite mixed in with it. I love the chocolate truffle too.
Hopefully your taste buds won't change that much. I know right after surgery I didn't tolerate sour foods very well. Things WILL taste different.
I'm heading down to Barix on the 13th and will be loading up with some more nectars.

Can't help you on the nectar. I drink Muscle Milk chocolate and whey shots as I build up for the surgery.
