Protein coffee again this morning.  I'm in a rut with that.  It's easy and good, so why not.  Got up at 8:00.  Seems like a reasonable time.  Maybe I'll shoot for that each day now.
QOTD:  What not to wear.  I'd love to be told what I should be wearing.  DH said that one of the tops I bought recently was too young looking.  I really liked it and bought it anyway.  Now I'm wondering if he's right.  Oh well, it fits and it's fashionable so what the H.
Thank goodness we're not getting the snow they're getting out east!

Good morning all -

The drive in to work this morning was snowy and slippery.  Had my protein chai tea and fake latte already.  Breakfast will be yogurt and fiber one twigs. 

No big plans for the weekend.  Jeff Ott (grammy-winning muscian from mid-Michigan area) is in concert tonight at the Harvest Coffehouse in Frankenmuth and I'd like to listen to him.  Depending on what the roads look like on the way home, I'll either go hang out there for the evening or just head home.  Saturday and Sunday will be school work and playing in my art room.

QOTD -- I'd love to do Amazing Race too.  But I'd probably get frustrated at the fast pace and corny challenges .... I'd want to take the time to visit the exotic locations and be a tourist.  So maybe instead of being a contestant, I'd need to work on the film crew or something.  LOL

I got a good nights sleep last night which was amazing! Now if we can just continue it.. The Little Guy has not been sleeping well and we think it has to do with some issues that he suffers from. Big Guy on the other hand is perfect!

We are shopping tonight and then tomorrow we are heading out to meet my sister and brother in law with their girls at a McDonalds for dinner and then us girls are gonna shop at Great Lakes... We are planning on wearing Big Guy out!! Sunday we are staying home and cleaning and catching up on laundry.

QOTD: I would be on the Real Housewives. I would be rich and be able to shop whenever I want too! LOL I could not work and take long weekends drinking with my friends! ROFL... of Course I would also be a ***** but hey what woman is not a *****! LOL

I haven't been on alot lately, but if you take him to the doctor, ask about giving him some melatonin at bedtime.  My son has issues going to sleep and then staying asleep.  My dr told me to crush up a 1mg tablet of melatonin in some milk before bed.  It will help him fall asleep and stay asleep.  It is natural, and some people just don't produce enough.  We only give it to my son on Sunday to Thursday.  Generally it is Sunday to Tuesday, otherwise he is up until at least 10 and used to be up until 1 or 2 at night.   Then he would be up several times a night.  Now, he sleeps from 9 pm to 6 p.m.  It has been a godsend.

I started on a regular tablet, but found a sublinqual at GNC that crushes easier and dissolves almost instantly.   I put it in some warm water to help it dissolve better, then add some milk.  Then it is peaceful sleep. 

Not sure what he has went through, but god bless you for being there for him.

 hmm breakfast... I am on my liquid diet so yogurt and my protein shake.. oh yum... I have a question.. has anyone used non dairy creamer to make your shake taste... oh not so watery? Is this aloud? 

QOTD- Amazing Race for sure I have been watching it since the first season. If not that... What not to wear.. I am trying to convince my friends to submit me after the surgery I told them I will even wear all my too big clothes for a while.. lol


Plans for this weekend: Uhh work.. and try not to freak out for surgery next Wednesday.

I do add it now, but I am almost 3 years out. I do it for flavor, not because it is watery.

Have you tried decreasing the water or ice you use?  Just a thought.

Afternoon all

Well,  I have to say, things are starting to go better with the new boss.  He had a talk with my boss that left in October, and since I chat with him alot, he told me what the new guys issues were.  Someone has given him details that have not painted a very nice picture of me.  Needless to say, he is starting to see who has respect of the staff and knows what they are doing and who does not.   We had an interesting chat while the person was gone to lunch.  I am still bummed I didn't get the job, but life goes on.  I still have a job.

No big plans for me this weekend except packing and having a mom and son Sunday afternoon.  I leave Tuesday Morning for the remainder of the week for training in Chattanooga.  I am looking forward to some warmer weather, and getting out of my office for a few days.

QOTD - Reality show?  I would like to follow Gordon Ramsey around on Kitchen Nightmares just to see if the food tastes as bad as he says it does.  Don't really want to go through the yecky fridges with him though.

I only use 6 ounces of water I don't think that it will hurt for now because I can have milk at this point...it just makes it richer

If you can have milk then whey not just use skim milk instead of water.
 and my nut suggested to add powdered milk to that just to boost the protein amount.

so you get the 25 gs in the protein
and in the skim milk 8 grs
and in the powdered milk 8 gs

42 grams total
