Went to the clinic
I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun. I hope it heals quickly. Did the doctor put you on NSAIDs? If so, make sure you're also doing a proton pump inhibitor (prevacid or prilosec) because all NSAIDs can weaken the lining in your stomach (both the pouch and bypassed stomach) and cause ulcers. Hopefully the pain meds will work without having to do NSAIDs to reduce the inflamation -- it looks like this condition goes away on it's own without treatment.

I've had that before - they called it "inflammation of the chest wall muscle" - and BOY - did that HURT! They gave me antibiotics for mine, and I could feel relief the same day.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
