Howdy everyone, I hope my message finds you all with happy results from your WLS. I'm 7 months out and Ive lost almost 60 lbs. I'm 35 LBS from my goal weight. So far I'm very happy I decided to have this surgery, I'm glad I'm looseing at this rate. Not to fast not to slow. Seems when I hit a long lul, Its when I drop sizes in clothes. Before surgery, I was in a size 18 and it was tight , now I'm in a size 10 and its getting loose.

So here are my questions. At 7 months out , How many carbs should I be getting in ?
How much Protein ; I'm still focussing on 80.
How much fat and how many calories. Ive been at a lul for 3 weeks now and I think I'm not eating right .

I look forward to everyones responce

I'll be glad to hear the replies too because I'm 7 months out also and am experiencing lulls, but I don't get much exercise in.  I think if I exercized more I'd lose more.

When I hit stalls or plateaus, I would do either one of these things:  UP the protein and cut the carbs... aim for 30 carbs a day to get things moving, and I would add 2 more protein shakes a day - kick it up over 100 -  OR - and this one isn't usually blessed, but I'd eat something I shouldn't.  It seems when I did that (not as a regular thing) it jump started my metabolism.  NOW - I wouldn't do that if you've been letting the calories or carbs creep up...

You know you're still losing if your clothes sizes are changing, even though your weight is - that's very normal.  One day you'll wake up and see 5 lbs gone...

I know its frustrating - hang in there and keep doing the right things - it will happen!

We ALWAYS need to be taking in high levels of protein.  That will be the staple of your diet for the rest of your life.  Not saying other things won't come back into your diet, but protein shakes and protein bars are still daily things for me.
As far as carbs, re-evaluate them whenever you stall on your weight loss or you start to gain weight.  Personally I avoided them until I started to do my endurance events.  Ironically if I want to lose weight I've got to stop my training/exercising.  At that point I'm able to go back to protein shakes/bars and smaller meals.
Another suggestion: up your exercise level!  Get out and add 15-20 minutes of walking 3x a week.  It will do wonders for your fitness!
