Cool, we're ready to go.
It is what it is.

Hello all, I'm late today, had to get online to work early because I was leaving late morning to go see Dr.  I am now home, stitches were removed, have an antibiotic to take and a binder on my tummy but don't have to wear the arm binders anymore.  What's more is I can go to Florida for the weekend with my DH.  He has a weekend conference there so I am going along for the SUN!  I will work from the hotel on Friday while he is in conference but I will be free to enjoy my Saturday and our Sunday, we return home on Monday.  We fly down there Thursday afternoon.  I have to figure out what I can wear tho to two different kinda dressy meals with his group, but other then that is is relaxing clothes.  Can't wait.

QOTD - I LOVE Packi's, the ones from the polish bakeries in Bay CIty were my favorites, down here in Kazoo there is only one Polish bakery and I have never tried them from there.  Can't eat them anymore anyway. *sigh*  But hey, being skinny is better then fat foods taste ! !  (Every day used to be "Fat" day for me)

Sorry about your dumping Mary,

I had an errand in Detroit today and along the way We stopped off in Troy at the Polish Market.  Wow was it busy.  We had never been there before and let me tell you everybody and their brother were in there buying paczki.  We bought a few, my folks were excited to get real ones.  They have not had them since they were kids.  I did take a bite of one.  It was so yummy, then I put it back in the box and there it sits for now.  Maybe the boys will eat the rest.

That store was so interesting.  I loved that all the newspaper and mags were in Polish.  Most of the food labels were in Polish as well, it was fascinating.

QOTD:  Lent does not apply to me and mine.  I did grow up Catholic but have since changed.

Good Evening All!

Mary,

Dumping keeps me in check . . I love it!

QOTD- I do give up something for Lent usually but this year my whole family . . parents all the way down are going to do something nice each day for someone else.  Shoveling snow for an elderly neighbor, placing the newspaper on someones porch, brushing the snow from the neighbors car before they head out to warm it up . . . the list can be endless . . I stared early today when standing in line at the Family Dollar a women was $1.75 short on her order of laundry soap and diapers, she was digging in the bottom of her purse for change and it was a nice feeling to say "here let me get it for you".  So if you don't give up something because it's not part of your religion . . think about how you can make a difference in someones day by an act of kindness.

Have a good night,

Kristy

.I will
Practice the art of just allowing a situation to be what it is.
and not  what I want or need it to be
Hope I can survive this task
It is only a 40 day committment
but i would like to see what positive effect it has on another
