I just measured

Not much really.  He took off 1 1/2 lbs of skin and that was mostly from the panni.  I'm still got some swelling going on so it will be a bit before I can tell for sure.

I know they measured it before I went in for surgery but I don't remember what it was!

How are you feeling now?

I'm feeling pretty good.  I do tire easily so I take a nap everyday on my lunch hour.  It is great having the stitches and drains all out.  I do itch a lot and am taking Benadryl for that.  Tomorrow we leave for Florida for the weekend, looking forward to seeing the sun for a few days, just R & R for me, DH has a conference so he will be busy for most of the time.  

I've been meaning to mention this since you said you were going to Florida....
Make sure you don't expose your scar to sunlight.  Your surgeon's office probably told you that already, but it bears repeating.
I went tanning months after my TT and covered my scar so it wouldn't darken.  It's been a year and still looks pretty good.  After my revision I have 5 small scars and I started tanning again and did not cover them.  They are much darker already than the TT one.

Yes, thanks for the reminder, it is in my instructions and am planning on following those directions!  I just want some warmth  LOL.

That's awesome Jani!  You are an inspiration.  I only hope when I'm 7 months out I've done as good as you have!
