My name is Jennifer. I am 29 years old and have been on the weight loss journey for about 12 1/2 years now. I just had RNY surgery on Monday the 8th by Dr Foote in Grand Rapids. Great Doctor and a good looking assistant! I had my Molina band ( done in Texas by Dr Molina) taken off after 12 years because of health issues. The Molina band was a an-adjustable band. Now just try to understand all the rules and diet of RNY, did not have any rules with Molina band but to drink a ounce of water a hour. Excited to get to know all of you!

You are right, Dr. Foote is very nice. You'll really like the staff there. Several of the assistants are rather handsome! Don't tell my hubby that! LOL Glad things are going well. Make sure if you need anything that you let people know. Go to the support groups they are very helpful!

7 Months out to the date ~ Total loss of 100 pounds!! October 3, 2010: 179 pounds
February 1, 2011 ~ weigh 146 pounds
