Hello all!  Are you all ready for the snow storm, some of you are probably already getting hit pretty bad, it is just a pretty snowfall right now.  My living room has a huge window that looks out into my back yard which is woods, it is always so beautiful when you are inside watching the snow come down.  Just need a fireplace.  I am currently drinking my strong black coffee then on to work and protein.

Stay warm and Safe !

Good Morning!
We're getting a little bit of snow.  My boss is so scared of driving in the snow, she decided we should all leave by 11am.  I didn't argue with that!  I have tons of stuff I can do from home.

I'm drinking my protein "freeze" at my desk.  I'm probably the only weirdo that is drinking a cold beverage in in the middle of a snow storm LOL

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning.  I'm never ready for snow...or at least don't WANT to be ready.  Our snowblower needs a simple repair but hubby has worked every weekend for the last month or so and hasn't gotten to it.  I think he might regret that today!  Good thing he has 4 wheel drive.  Our driveway goes up hill and is curvy.  I've gotten stuck in the yard, numerous times.  I ran to the store this morning because we ge****er delivered to our house monthly, but we are out and don't get a delivery until Friday, so I had to go get more water.  I'm glad I no longer have my 100 mile commute!!

Dub is napping.  I'm having some breakfast.  I'm prepared to just hang out at home with Dub for the next couple days!  Have a good one!!

Hey all -

Just getting caught up with stuff at the office.  Not feeling great today.  And I'm definitely not thrilled about the snow.  If I stick to my schedule I'll be driving from Auburn Hills to Saginaw at 10pm tonight --- which is suppose to be the height of the snowfall.  I'm seriously considering skipping school tonight so I can just get home earlier.  We'll see.

Pam - be SAFE!   They are saying 6-10 inches in that area starting tonight.  You should consider skipping school because it's just so not worth you driving in that kind of weather!  Take if from me who's daughter left in a snow storm last Feb to go back to school and ended up spinning out on I-75 and totalling her car!  Better be safe than sorry!

Take care!

I hear you!  I don't have my homework done for tonight's class, so even if I miss it, it's not like I'd get full points for the assignment anyway.  The reason I'm hesitating is because I missed last week when I had to work late.  We'll see.  Just gonna play it by ear for now.

I could really use a night off too.  I'm exhausted today (yesterday kicked my butt) and my tummy is not happy with me so eating isn't great either.  Plus a bunch of mental crap going on after yesterday's doc appointment (I'll blog about it when I'm not so angry...).

But yeah, I am not going to risk my life (or my car) just so I can be a good student and be in class.  :-)

I work on the 4th floor of a building in Dearborn...it has been snowing for quite some time. We are trying to convince our bosses tolet us go home early before everyone else gets out of work. Stagger the traffic....Good idea Right?

Hey Everyone!

I am checking in late again today.. The boys had a Dr appt this morning. So needless to say I was running around because I overslept too! I am glad it is overwith.. Plus it is hard carrying one boy in each arm... I lift 45 pounds everytime I do that! So my arms will be super strong by summer no less!

I am anxious for the snow.. Although I have to be up in Clinton Twp tomorrow morning at 9am for a visitation for one of the boys so I will be one of those idiots out driving in the snow tomorrow morning.. only because I HAVE too... I do not want to break my part of my agreement as a foster parent and get in trouble..

For now we are sitting around and watching the snow fall! It looks so pretty!

You be careful driving with those babies in the car.

make sure you pack extra blankets, baby food/formula. and a couple of those hunting hand warmers that you smack and they heat up in a snow emergency kit. along with your cell phone fully charged. And some water and protein for you. Just in case you slip off the road and need to rely on the emergency supplies until help can arrive.

be safe.

It may be better to consider the childrens safety befor the visitation arrangements.
Call the mediator and suggest a reschedule if possible.
