What happened to the Super Bowl Monday

Good Morning everyone.
Woke up this morning and found out that the Saints took the Super Bowl. Congrats all Saints fans. What happened? Went to be during the 4th Quarter
May you have had a great weekend!  I was busy with errands and cleaning. How 'bout you?
QOTD-Any commercial favorites from the Super Bowl, yesterday or before? I always love the E-trade babies. Coke had some good ones. Didn't see the one with Betty White, but I'm sure they will play over and over again....

Good morning Deb....Decaf with fat free french vanilla in my cup this morning....An interception helped the Saints with their win....New Orleans needed something good for their city hopefully no riots broke out haven'****ched the news in a while or I would know about the snow coming huh...I didn't see any commercials as I came home from work during the fourth quarter saw the interception then fell asleep....Have a great day everyone....

Mornin' Deb and everyone.  I'm up and drinking my power smoothie then off to work.  I'm sure this week will be better than last!  Deb, can I just say that I'm so thankful you do our post so often in the mornings.  You are always in a chipper mood and think of cool things to talk about.

I did a ton of running around this weekend.  I had my teeth cleaned and then went to get new glasses for myself and my son.  So it was a $1,000 weekend!

QOTD-I didn't see many of the commercials, but those screaming chickens cracked me up.  My DH liked the Dodge commercial where the guys were saying "I will listen to what you think about my friends, I will watch your vampire TV shows....".  I was hoping the Saints would win because I bet my son $1.00.  I'll have to collect this afternoon.

I liked the Doritos commercial with the dog - that was hilarious!  There was another one that made me laugh out loud - but can't remember it now...  Oh I remember, it was the one with Stevie Wonder....

Good Morning all !

I am awake and working, yes, I have signed on to my regular job and am trying to work as much as possible today.  My DH made sure I could get up and down by myself before he left to work for a few hours, I passed the test, he is a tough teacher...LOL.

Anyway, I am drinking my hot coffee/chocolate protein this morning, need to keep up my protein, I didn't do any of it this weekend, hubby tried feeding me as much regular proteins as possible, my appetite is low but I know I have to eat, drink, take vitamins, and move.  The weekend activity was to sit in my recliner and be a good patient!  I was, today is my 2nd Wedding Anniversary and I look like he!! my dh is going to help me try to wash my hair tonight.  Sponge baths are not the way to go, I can't wait to get back into my shower later this week (at least I hope I can after I see the Dr on Wednesday). 

QOTD:  Commercials -I watched most of them but I don't know that any of them were standouts like they had been a few years a back, I think they hit a ceiling and can't get past it.  My expectations might be set to high. 

The game it self was a good game.  I was rooting for the colts but not upset that the Saints won, they needed some good stuff in their lives.

Hey Sally, I haven't been on here much lately.  How'd the reconstruction go?  Are you in a lot of pain?  Big incision?  Did you get something other than a tt?
I hope your recovery goes smoothly.  Make sure you get in enough fluids too as well as protein.  Sponge baths are great for someone else!  Good luck at the Dr. on Wednesday.  Do you have drains?  I'm a very curious person here.  You can pm me the answers if you don't want everyone to know...:)

I was happy to see the Saints win.....New Orleans deserves a break.

As far as the commercials, there were a few that made me laugh, I like the Betty White one and the Doritos one (I especially liked the Doritos "attacking" like a ninja star).  There were a few others too.

Hey Everyone!

I am checking in later today than normal. The boys are down for a nap and I am battling a HUGE migraine.. I am hoping that when my DH comes home I can try to lay down again.. I just took some more meds and I am hoping they kick in soon... I cannot get much done around here when I am feeling like this.

QOTD: I did no****ch the super bowl. I had no desire.. As far as the commericals when I was watching the View this morning I saw a clip of the Doritos commerical with the little boy that told the new guy not to look at his Momma or touch his doritos and smacked him! That was pretty funny... Sorry but I thought the Betty White one was kind of stupid.. Just me.. I loved her in Golden Girls though.

My mom was in the ER a few times this past week with migraine induced vertigo.  I have had like 3 migraines in the past 10 days....and I usually only get one or two a year.
I wonder if it's something with the weather?
