Hump Day Coffee
Good morning all,
Wow I'm actually here in the AM, I prob. won't finish and send this for an hour or so because my receptionist is out again today so I'm running around like a chicken w/ it's head chopped off!
Q: It's funny you ask that, we've been talking about that on another forum I participate in. It's called cruise critic and it's people we've never met, but will be on the same ship w/ next week. Anyways, one of the men posted a reminder to all the other men that we will be on the ship for Valentines Day, and I laughed because I had already told David that just because we'd be in the middle of the Pacific I expected flowers in the room and a card!!! My philosophy is..... a reminder to him is better than disappointment to me :), and ladies at least in my marriage it's worked for 16 years !!!
As for the cards, David always gets the ones that have multiple pages that accordion that say....you love me because, and it lists all the disgusting things men do, you know the ones, so this year I got him a card that teases him about all the farting he does!

Good morning to all! I have had a couple of crazy days at work and am on the forum for the first time since Monday! That's the longest I have ever gone since joining!

We don't do Sweetest Day, we concentrate all the love on Valentine's Day! So it definitely is a romantic thing for us. I get my hubby the heartfelt card and write a nice long personal message. Instead of exchanging gifts this year, we are putting money in the Go-To-Hawaii fund for 2011. You know - when I will be slimmer and healthier!

Good morning! Had my coffee this AM. Dub slept all night, again! YAY! I got about 6 straight hours! Woo hoo!
QOTD: Whenever I buy cards for my hubby, I usually get a serious one and a funny one. If I just get one, it's usually funny. That's just how we are. Not sure what will happen on Valentine's Day this year. We don't really exchange gifts and stuff like that...ever. LOL! Although, we did talk about taking Dub to the grandparents for a night and getting a hotel room. That was so I could get a full night's rest. But now that he's decided to sleep all night, we may do something else. I was really going crazy with 8 months of sleep deprivation!
