I didn't even know there WAS a MI board! Duh!

Hi friends!  I mostly hang out on the VSG board but I heard about this board and thought I should check it out.

I had my surgery 3 weeks ago today and I'm feeling GREAT!  The first week was very rough but things are going very well, now.

Anyway, I'm Ange.  I'm 33 and married to the most amazing guy in the universe and we have one son, Ewan (YOO-in), who is 3 years old and flippin awesome.

Glad to meet some fellow Michiganders on the losers bench!

Welcome to the MI board!!  Sounds like you have an awesome family :-)  I'm glad you are feeling so good after your surgery!

Hi Ange - I go to the same office as you.  I am still in the "process" of working my towards getting approved for RNY.  Congrats on your surgery!!

Welcome to the Michigan board, and congratulations on your surgery.  You'll be so happy you did it at a young age.  I waited until I was 57 and wish I'd done it 20 years ago.  You'll be able to play on the floor with Ewan without hesitation.  I knew someone with the same name, but it was spelled Ewen.  Very different, I like it a lot.

Dr. Katz (what a cutie, huh?) did my revision in Dec.

He's seriously one of the nicest men I've met in my entire life.  HE is the one who called me to check up on me, not just one of his staff.  I can't get over it.  It's very unusual for your actual surgeon to call.  He's great!
