Morning

Jus****ching the kiddos... We got another new one on Friday afternoon. A 7 Month old boy.. I just ate some toast and drinking my crystal light raspberry iced tea...(they are on sale this week at Meijer 2/5) I stocked up big time yesterday at the store.

I am hoping to hunker down today and stay in since it is still so cold... Tomorrow I will have errands to run. So today is a home day.

QOTD: I would rather read.. I like getting the visual myself instead of someone else's visual. Just an opinion.. Although I do like the whole going to the movies experience as well. I like the dark room with the surround sound.. If it were up to my DH we would have one in our home! But unfortunately we do not have enough room.

Have a great day everyone!

No Tina the other two left last week.. The little guy that came had needs in which we were unable to care for... We were going to take a breather but they called on Friday desperate for our help and we gave in.. So I have Big Guy who is 15 months old and now I have the little one who is 7 months... I am kind of busy with the two of them.. But the 7 month old is delayed as well. Spent way to much time in the carrier.. I got him to roll over for the first time this morning at belly time... He also cannot sit up on his own and does not coo or anything.. So I have some work ahead of me with that.. I am also allowing him to spend alot of time in the bumbo trying to strenghten those muscles so he can sit up.

I definately think 2 is our limit for right now!

Whew!! I was gonna say...I have my hands full with 1!  I couldn't imagine 4....all in the same age range.  But that's so cool that those little ones come into your home and get what they NEED!!  Sad, that they are in that position, but glad you (and all foster/adoptive parents) are there for them!

It has been really hard on us emotionally... Sometimes I do just wish I could get pregnant and then other times I just think what a difference I am making in these little lives.. it is such a toss up either way ya know.

I do hope that somewhere along the line we get another newborn to care for and eventually adopt... I want to have that impact early so that hopefully some of the problems that develop can be divereted.

I do have my hands full but you know I am SUPER organized and I am slowly learning to let things go in the house.. You know not have to mop the floors every week! I just keep my book to organize times and appts. And I have a great husband to help me out.

I have no problem letting things go, day to day.  But it's the weekends that get me.  AJ is home then, and I can get things done around here.  He's been working a lot of OT (woo hoo...F150 sales are up and his plant makes the transmissions that go in them) on the weekends, so I really start to feel behind then, and it starts to get to me.  I, at least, like to maintain what is done around here.  Plus, a lot didn't get 'caught up' that last month before Dub came, as we had planned, because of his stroke.  We're slowly getting to where we wanted to be a year ago.

I feel your pain.. We have little projects that need to be finished and it is hard on the weekends when I need to get things done and he is watching the kids. But we just keep trucking ya know.. I try to get as much done during naps as I can... I am glad I can get alot done during that time.

We are at least hoping to get a new stove soon and get it installed... I think once that comes other little projects will fall into place.. Plus I want to get the small inside ones done before the weather changes and we have to start on the outside stuff. We have some small things we are doing outside this year too.

We're gearing up to re-do our basement.  We did it once before, but now we want carpeting down there and of course, I want to repaint (REALLY want to tear down the paneling and drywall, but that's one of those things that doesn't NEED to be done and painting the paneling will be just fine).  Plus, we're getting new furniture for downstairs.  But the basement living room is full of stuff, everything that was stored in Dub's room and one of the other bedrooms upstairs and some of my classroom stuff.  So, we need to get it cleared out before we can do anything.

The furnace is blowing hot air and the lite in the kitchen now works.

I can now clean my house and vacuum and laundry and I am going to be a busy girl for a few days. Lots of catch up to do.

QOTD: I do both I like to read when I am in the mood and a movie when I feel like letting some one or thing else entertain me.

I like how to books so they kind of stimulate me and I then I get motivated.

It is oh so warm and toasty in here.

One duck down and now I am aiming at the results on Friday duck. I will get you my pretty!

Mary,  What a nightmare you've been through!  I can't imagine.  I'm so happy you're warm again.
