Finally Friday

Good Morning Michigan!

I am sitting at the oral surgeon's office with my son who is getting his wisdom teeth pulled.  All three of my kids have had their wisdom teeth pulled this month so it's been an expensive month since insurance only pays 50%.  I've had to shell out more that $2,000 with no help from the ex yet!

Another cold day outside.  Brrrrrrr.....I am looking forward to warmer weather, whenever that may be!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Good morning. We are on our way to Ypsi right now. My Pre-op for reconstructive surgery is today. Then we have to be back in town to cook for our Eagleriders fish fry tonight. Tomorrow is state Eagleriders meeting. Rest sat night. Bowl Sunday (makeup for next Thursday). Wow, the week will fly by and Thursday is surgery. Nothing much going on in my life LOL Stay warm and safe.

Are you using DiNick?  Sounds like an exciting week for you.  Do you have your date for your reconstruction yet?
Too cold up here.  Tomorrow and Saturday they say low will be below zero.  Ick.

Dr Hing is doing my surgery on Thursday, February 4th.  I am in the countdown !   I am getting excited, nervous, but not scared.  I really like him and his staff, I have read many good things about him, I also have heard great things about Dr DiNick.  Dr Hing comes over to the Barix Clinic in Holland once a month and that was were I went for my initial visit.  I will be going to Ypsi for the surgery.

I initially was going to start this type of thing 5 years ago but just when I was ready I found out I needed to have two implants done for my teeth (yes, I could have done a bridge but I didn't want one in the front of my mouth).  That took priority since it is my two top front teeth and you need them to eat and smile.  That took me 3 years to complete because I had lost so much bone where the teeth needed to be implanted and it took about 6 surgeries to get it rebuilt.  My mouth had so much damage from when I initially injured them when I was 9 years old that it was quite an undertaking, also expense as insurance will not pay for implants.  They have been in now for 1 year and I love them.

I had a busy weekend so have not been back here since Friday morning but will keep you all updated.  I will spend one night in the hospital, barring any complications (not expecting any).

Are you game to sharing before surgery, immediately after surgery, and post recovery pictures with us?  Does this mean no riding this season or just for 8 weeks after surgery?
Jody shared her pics on the lightweights board and they were amazing.  Thanks, by the way, Jody.

I might, I have to take them and see how gross they are before I decide to share, I know the arms will be easy to share.  I have also enjoyed looking at others pictures to get an idea of what they could do for us.  I'll let all you Michiganders know in the next day or three.

How is doing your surgery?  I had Dr DiNick do my Tummy Tuck on the 19th - just be SURE you know EXACTLY what you want done....

I have my follow up (2nd appt) with him next Wednesday in Novi.

Good luck with your surgery!

I have talked with Dr Hing twice now and I am doing the full Tummy tuck and arms.  I am curious, what time of thing you are referring to, what might I have missed when I talked to him?

What I meant was - be EXACTLY sure you want the full TT done.  I waivered on my decision and got my surgery postponed...  I did end up getting the full TT and have not regretted it one bit.

I don't know Dr Hing so I'm not sure what he's like.

Thanks Jody,   yes, I am getting the full TT done, I had read a lot on the ps board and looked at a lot of before and afters to help me decide what to do.   I have a lot going on and figure if I only had the panni done, I would still have terrible Muffin top and lots of excess there.  I am getting the Brachioplasty and that extended into the bilateral upper body lift.  Thanks for the concern, I do appreciate it, and appreciate people asking things that I might not have thought about, there are so many variations of everything.

It was mentioned that you posted your pics, are they on your personal page?  Could I see them?

Thanks,
Sally
