Good morning all.  It appears that it is either a slow saturday for all or a very busy one and you are all off and running  today.  I'm still sitting here having my coffee, strong and black.  Went to see the K-Wings play last night, DH decided at the last minute we should go, it was a great idea, great game and we had fun.

Have a great day and enjoy the warmth!

Boy, slow is right.  I'm #2 and it's 11:38 right now.  Getting ready to make my protein tea.  The kids made french toast and it smelled soooo good.  I need to be more diligent and stay away from the carbs.
Was up with the grandbaby lastnight.  The kids woke me and asked for help.  They just couldn't get him settled down.  Actually, they wore him out for me, so when I got him he settled and went to sleep for a couple of hours.  Then I got up with him again at 6:00, fed, changed and laid down on the couch with him on my chest, covered us up with the afghan, and we both went back to sleep.  Of course I only dozed, but what a great time for us together.
Now I'm yawning and could easily take a nap already.  I'm not used to this...
Tomorrow I leave here again so I've got to get all of my Josh time in today.
Good weekend to all.

Hey Jody.  I'm in Durand until tomorrow.  Then I'll be in Warren and Sterling Heights for two nights...without a computer until I get back up north.  Where I'm staying they don't have wireless.
I'm loving being with Josh.  I told the kids to remember, each phase only lasts for a short time so don't worry.  Josh's crankiness is getting to the kids.  I know how that is, my first son was colicky for far too long!
Congratulations on the Grandma thing.  When is this to happen.  I missed it.  Is your daughter taking good care of you?  How are you feeling.  I want all the nasty details, in a pm of course.
Off to do my duty now.

Ladies, being a MeMa (grandma in my grandkideze) is the best thing that can ever happen to us, IMO !   I love being around them, they look at us with such big eyes and love us unconditionally!  It is a wonderful thing!

I was at work for 7:00 am, only worked a half day today. On the way home from work I stopped off at  Salvation Army and bought 2 new sets of scrubs.   I was thinking of heading out to the plymouth ice festival today if hubby wakes up any time soon ( he works midnights ).

Funny you mention the ice festival. we ran into a couple we know, Mark and Bonnie, from Romeo, whom we hadn't seen in years at the ice festival.  We also ran into them up north in Leland at Fishtown.  Really weird.  It seems like the ice festival is either on the warmest week of the winter, or the coldest (bitter cold).  Been there when it was bitter and also when the ice was melting.  Amazing the talent eh?
Have a good time.
