the walk went fab. but the dog pooped out cause he wanted to sniff everything in site.
my son went with us. we had a good chat. just mom and son time.

How about this for a QOTD:

Its now January 19.  How is your progress toward those New Year's weight loss resolutions we posted here? 

As for me, I am still thinking about getting over to a gym and joining.  Not a single step toward actually doing it.  OK, tomorrow for sure!

Good morning!

Staying up till 1:30 a.m. on a "school night" is not such a good idea.  The 6am alarm was not a welcomed interruption to my sleep this morning.  But once I was up and outta bed, I was fine. I'm sure I'll be dragging later though. 

Started my morning with Kristy's Vanilla Caramel Protein Tea -- yum! yum! yum! -- and I'm about to have some yogurt and blueberries for breakfast.

QOTD -- My word for 2010 is Create.  I am doing very well with it so far.  I am doing much better in my Art Journal and figuring out that creative process more.  And I even got a tiny bite from the scrapbooking bug over the weekend too.  As crazy as my weekend was with piles and piles of homework... I consciously took the time to take breaks and head to my crafting room to play a few times.  It's good for my soul.

Pam, I went on a scrap-booking kick.  Bought about $500 worth of materials and made about 4 pages.  Hopefully I will get back in the swing of it someday.

I am achieving the goals I have set slow and steady.
I just do what I can and make a small dent in the pile of goals.  I am getting more exersise each day. Maybe not at the gym but out and about walking.

Feels good Too.

Good morning(almost afternoon) all.

I have been doing the protein drink with coffee this morning, almost time for lunch.

QOTD:  Since I don't make NY resolutions I can't fail at them, the only goal I have had was the one I started in November which was to get back on track with my eating and to lose the weight I gained since I met my husband.  Well, I have lost eighteen pounds since then and only have 6 more to go to get to that goal.  With that goal came the drinking of all my water, doing more protein and excercise, so all in all, it is a good thing and I can't believe how easy it has been !  Now, I haven't been perfect in this quest but I don't consider myself on a diet, just working the pouch like I should, I enjoy being skinny  ! ! !

good afternoon mary,

just got back from a bike ride with the dog.  no, no, he didnt ride with me, just along side of me!  I was trying to drain some of his puppy energy.  Wanted him to pull me, but alas, he was too lazy for that.  found out he's afraid of the garbage truck, so it was my challenge to keep him trotting even with all the noise.  It worked okay.


qotd:  I didnt set any resolutions, but I am eating better and dropping a few lb's at the same time.
Thoughts become things... choose the good ones!
