1. Do you think Social Networking messes with your head and why? I think it does to some people because they can mistake a non reality world for their real one. Its important to have face to face contact with real live people too.
2. How do you deal with insulting remarks by a particular in-law, especially when it's unprovoked and for no reason? I ignore them, pretend I didn't hear them, and then complain about that person later to my DH lol
3. What is farthest you would drive for a vacation with no overnights to that destination, in hours? 18 hours (panhandle)

OK, this is a tough one, you are making me think on a friday...
1. Do you think Social Networking messes with your head and why? I don't think it messes with my head, I like networking.
2. How do you deal with insulting remarks by a particular in-law, especially when it's unprovoked and for no reason? I ignore the response, kinda pretend I am hard of hearing, but then when my chance comes along I get a zinger in myself.
3. What is farthest you would drive for a vacation with no overnights to that destination, in hours? We have the west coast of Michigan, beautiful beach, view, etc. South Haven is only 45 minutes away, love it !

Hey, Bee...long time, no see...or speak...or read...or anything!!
. Do you think Social Networking messes with your head and why?
No...everyone on my "friends" list, I know in real life or they are relatives. I'm pretty level-headed and know where to draw the line.
2. How do you deal with insulting remarks by a particular in-law, especially when it's unprovoked and for no reason?
Um....my inlaws are pretty great. I can honestly say they've never insulted me, intentionally. They may have said something that I personally took offense to, but I never said anything cuz it was just me being overly sensitive.
3. What is farthest you would drive for a vacation with no overnights to that destination, in hours?
Maybe 8-10 hours. Depends on where I was going and who was going with. Before baby, I'd drive straight through to just about anywhere....after baby....yeah...not so much.
4. Whats the last good deed someone did for you?
When we had to go to TN, twice in Dec for my mom, my inlaws let us take their van, gave us a credit card to pay for gas and hotel (meaning we don't have to pay it back), and babysat Dub the day after we drove all night to get home. They would do anything for us (and their other son's family) because, as they say, "That's just what parents do for their kids." By the way, we didn't ask to take the van, or for any of the other stuff. My hubby used to say no, but he has decided to give up that battle. I don't know how many times we have come home from a visit there and found $50 in a coat pocket or something like that. LOL! Actually, the last time we were there, she did a load of laundry for my hubby and when he wore two of the shirts she washed, there was $20 in the front pocket.
I don't know. I'd say wls, but I don't think it changed me all that much. I lost weight and all, but I'm the same person I was before surgery. So, I'm not sure what my answer to this would be. Having Dub has made the biggest difference in my life, but I don't know if that is considered a "single practice".

Hey B!
1. Do you think Social Networking messes with your head and why? I think it does. People that hated or ignored me in high school request to be my "friend", but we've seen each other out in the real world and never even said hi. Weird.
2. How do you deal with insulting remarks by a particular in-law, especially when it's unprovoked and for no reason? I don't have a good answer for this one. I dealt with it for 13 years with my ex mother in law (may she rest in peace). I never did figure out how to stop it or stop letting it bother me.
3. What is farthest you would drive for a vacation with no overnights to that destination, in hours? 4

4. Whats the last good deed someone did for you? My grandma gave me $300 to use toward student loan payments.
5. What single practice has made the biggest difference in your life? Oh my gosh. Why do you always have to ask such deep questions? Ok, my only answer is overeating. That has made a BAD difference in almost every aspect of my entire life.
To jump in on your response:
1. I'm friend'ing people I don't remember at all from High School, my 30 year reunion is this year and people are coming out of the woodwork! It's to weird!, part of me doesn't want to friend them because I have not clue who they are, but since the reunion is this year I don't want to miss anything (I'm kinda nosy like that!)

Learning how to look at the bright side of life - and realizing there are 2 sides to every story. It makes me not automatically jump to negative conclusions, but has now made me look at life with a "glass half full" attitude.
