"WHAT'S IN YOU CUP?"

DD got recalled to the cell phone plant. And I got a call for an interview. We'll See

Making reservations today for the campground in Holland.

I checked and they said it would be OK for the MI OHers to have a campfire night after the festival meet n greet. Just need to let them know how many will stop by so they can arrange parking for the guest.

QOTD: When is the last time you Raided your pantry? What did you find? And What did you pitch? What could you donate to a food shelter?

I was searching for some spices yesterday and found a bunch of boxes of pasta's and sauce things that I don't remember buying. but I believe they will be ok for the Salvation army food bank.

Have a super duper day!

Mary

Off to the gym and getting my allergy testing done.

QOTD: I never pitch anything.  I either give it to my parents or if no one eats that fruit/veggie etc. (everything but meat) I feed the deer in my back yard.  I also do send some things in for the can-a-thon the school collects for every winter.  Being on a limited budget I don't usually have a full pantry lol.

Hot Coffee w/ Chocolate and Cappucino Protein for me.  3 weeks from today for my Reconstructive surgery and it was suggested by others to increase my protein to enhance my healing.  I'm not nervous about it yet but am very excited !

So happy to hear about a recall to work, that is a wonderful thing in Michigan and even better is an Interview, way to go ! !   This is hopefully a sign of things slowly recovering.

I am hoping to come up to Holland to spend a day with all of you on the Holland weekend, my DH and I fly to Mexico for vacation the following Monday.  Are spouses allowed?  Don't want to go against the grain here, he is usually my shadow but if not allowed he is fine with staying home, please let me know.

Stay warm everyone, I hear the temp is going up a degree or two today....LOL

Oops, forgot the QOTD, so adding now:
I don't raid it often, you never know what is in it.  In the fall of every year I clean it out and if it isn't used it gets pitched, if it has a good date on it I give it to the local food drive.  They have gotten a lot from me over the years this way, I'm more apt to buy stuff thinking I'm going to try it and then I never do.

Good Morning!  I had a hard time dragging myself out of bed this morning.  Could be the fact that Nick woke up at 3am and played with his Barney toys until 4:30......

Drinking Crystal Light and waiting for my insane boss to come in and start yelling at everyone.

QOTD-I have a big pantry in my laundry room that is very, very full.  I think this comes from being a dirt poor single mom and having no food years ago.  I want to always have enough food for at least a few weeks stored back there!  When canned stuff is on sale I stock up for the church and scouts food drive, so that stuff is back there too.  Good Lord, I think I have about 15 2-liters of pop on the floor of my pantry, not to mention about 10 boxes of cereal for the boys.  I can't pass up a good sale, or a Costco run!

Hope you all have a good day!!

Which Crystal Light is your favorite? Just wondering? And do you have some place that you find that has the best price?

I don't know why, but the grape (or purple, as BM says) flavor of Hawaiian Punch is my favorite.  It's like crack, I tell you.  Meijer and Walgreens have it for $1 a box for the singles.

Meijer has CL on sale about every 4 weeks.  Then I stock up on fruit punch and my current favorite-Cherry/Pomegranate.  I also use the "fake" orange juice flavor in the mornings sometimes.

I use the singles and just measure out 16.9 oz of water so I don't have to use a plastic bottle every day.  I don't have enough room in my frige for a pitcher of CL.  Too much other stuff!

You talk about crack the only flavor I will drink is the raspberry green tea... If I have to settle for something else I will.. I have tried the other flavors and none of them are as good to me.. Wal Mart used to be the cheapest because they had the big containers for 2.97 but they raised the price unfortunately. I found some coupons recently in a magazine for 1.00 off... But I am like you and I stock up BIG time when they are on sale.. I do not want to run out!

Good morning everyone!

I am sitting here with my cup of peppermint tea.  I finished day three of the 5DPT and have lost FOUR POUNDS so far!

Last night I was going thru one of my file drawers and found some back issues of OH Magazine.  I had already renewed my subscription yesterday as a way of trying to get back on track.  I will be going thru them again to get some inspiration.

Well, it's still morning and I made it here.  Just ate one of the dried cherry almond scones that I made from my splenda cookbook.  They are really good.  Next I will go on to protein coffee.
Glad to hear Julie got called back and you've got an interview.  For what type of job?
Are you feeling better today?
I too have a lot of boxes of pasta's and such in my pantry.  I'll be giving them to my son and DIL when they come up next month.  I'll never use them again.  If Jay doesn't want them I'll give them to the Father Fred Foundation to feed the hungry.  If they happen to be out dated, not entirely impossible, I'll try feeding them to the deer in my back yard too.  Do they eat maccaroni noodles?
I'll check back in later.
