Questions about the Wii Fit - Is it worth it?
I am considering getting the Wii & Wii Fit and most likely getting the Biggest Loser program.. What is your take on the system and what programs would you recommend to help firm and tone?
I am considering asking my dad if he would like to go in half with me - granted he hasn't had WLS but has expressed a desire to get off about 20 or so lbs before May.

I like mine, we just upgraded to Wii fit plus. If you use the jogging, hula hoop, swinging big balls (not the name, but you'll know it when you see it)....there pretty good. There are allot of games that don't get your heart rate up at all, but they work on balance which is also very good for you.
BTW I also love a dvd I got w/ Bob, it's Biggest Looser Yoga, it kicks my rear!

I had 2 of them. The first one I was over 330# so I couldn't use it so I gave it as a gift. The next one I bought last year never got used by me. My brother wanted one so I gave it as a Christmas gift. I hear lots of good things about it so the 3rd time is the charm for me. I am keeping the next one I get!

We use ours all the time - the whole family. We have the Wii Fitness Plus and it really gives a good workout. You can mix it up and try different things. It's fun and gives you a lot of options.
I have thought about getting the new Jenny McCartney fitness thing for the WII. It comes with a web-cam kind of thing so it "sees" you and knows if you are doing things correctly, plus you don't have to continually hold onto the remote. Has anyone tried this?
