Wednesday Wake-up Call

Good morning all!

I'm less grumpy today.  My coworkers will be glad to hear that, I'm sure.

Ok... open mike day...

So school started this week and my scheudle is brutal.  M, T, W from 6pm - 9:40pm in Auburn Hills... which is a 90 minute drive home after class.  But when I got home last night I had a small discovery about myself.

Monday night I got home at 11:30 (driving through the snow for 2 hours) then shoveled the driveway - got in the house and went straight to bed.  Tuesday night I got home at 10:30, took a hot shower, made a cup of cocoa, watched a bit of TV, surfed the web for an hour then went to bed but slept fitfully without much real rest.  Both bedtimes were the same, but last night I was more relaxed when I crawled into bed, more at peace and slept great.  And it was simply because I had an hour to myself to decompress and unwind.

So that tells me that even though my school schedule for this semester sucks big time, that I can do it if I'm able to have just 1 hour to relax when I get home.  It's going to take a lot of planning for the next 10 weeks because anything that needs to be done and ready by Thursday evening (like my dish to pass for tomorrow night's support meeting) actually needs to be done on Sunday night.  And all my homework for the week needs to be done by the time I start my week on Monday morning.  Plus lunches and dinners needs to be packed and ready to roll.  So yeah, lots of planning.  But if I can just get that 1 hour before bed, I think I can survive.

Sorry to ramble.

Pam

PS -- QOTD - I have 2 favorite flowers:  pale pink roses and pink gerbera daisies

Good morning.  Trying to get motivated to go to my inlaws.  The good thing (well, maybe it's a bad thing)about working for them is that if I don't feel like going, it's no big deal.  I just don't go.  LOL!  They are just happy that I come down 3 or 4 days a week and bring Dub!

QOTD: Hmmmm....I couldn't tell you the difference between most flowers.  I do know that I HATE the smell of roses, but I think they are very pretty.  I like sunflowers, too.  Um...but beyond that I'm just not very knowledgeable about flowers.  Can you tell I don't have a green thumb?

Good morning everyone! I had half of my protein drink and am waiting for my half hour to pass so I can have some coffee.

QOTD- Calla lily is my most favorite flower.

On the agenda today, planning to go to the mall and do some walking and checking out the stores, maybe after the grocery store.

Hey all,

I'm actually here in the morning on a weekday!!!  My boss prob. would not be as thrilled LOL!!!

Pam, good luck it sounds like your going to need it!

Q:  All of them, I just love flowers (had the hardest time picking ones out for my bridal bouquet, because I couldn't just pick out 2 or 3!).  I love the simple ones the trees put out in the spring to ornate ones like the bird of paradise.  I hate growing Gerber's, cause they look like weeds, but I love the flowers they make!  So in other words.....give me flowers and I'll love them! (sorry you asked that question LOL!!!)

Morning

I have been up for awhile... Just trying to get motivated for housework today. I stripped the bed already and started laundry. Now I need to get going on the rest of the little things that I want to get done today.

QOTD: I love tons of different flowers... I am a gardener! I love all my flowers that I have planted but the ones that I love the most are my roses and my hydrangea... I baby those ones the most too. I did not cover mine this year either. I am going to see if I can get the same results or not. Some people say to cover some say do not.

As far as cut flowers... I like calla lillies and white roses.. Those are my favs!

Have a great day everyone.

OT: Did anyone hear of that man that died in a fire here in Roseville? That was on our walking route during the warmer months. It is literally blocks from my house.. A little to close to home for me!

The girls missed the bus this morning so I drove them to school and went straight to the gym.  I think I got my best workout to date.  I did the bike and ellipitical.  I even got warm enough to take off my hoodie (I am always cold)!  The elliptical even got me sweating a little.  My personal trainer wasn't there but I do want to redo the program she has me on.  I am not getting enough of a workout.

QOTD-My favorite is lilacs.  It is the only one that I even like the smell of.  I don't care for the smell of most flowers.  Then I would chose tulips, daisies and sunflowers.  After that I don't care one way or another.

Morning Michiganders.

Just got done with my WC Oatmeal. Had to go get Blood Work today so I have it for my three month 2/17/2010. With the Dr. C.
So, I prepared my Chocolate protein powder in water, so I could drink it after the blood work was drawn, on the way home. Since the test was a Fasting Blood Work.

I am having some stomach issues, It started like constipation, but now I have a pain. in my right side just where your waist is. And I have been going to the B-room a lot since last night. I am not sure what is going on, I hope it subsides, soon.

Well, obviously I'll say Good Evening everyone.
Busy day today, then took a nap when I got home from shopping.  Gary went to the garage to work on his deer blind, so I laid down on the couch and fell asleep.  It was great.
Tonight for dinner I made the pizza recipe that Mary posted for me.  It was really satisfying, and Gary even said 'it wasn't bad' and he ate it.  We were both satisfied and have more than half the pizza left for lunch tomorrow.  I really like eggs and cheese so the crust was good.  I topped it with Meijer Pizza Sauce, mushrooms, onions and turkey pepperoni plus cheese of course.  It definately curbed my crave for pizza.
QOTD:  I too like flowers.  Love the lilacs, I love a small bouquet of wild violets and lillies of the valley.  Love carnations because they last so long.  Like gladiolas because my dad used to always buy them for my mom and they're like happy memories to me.  A week ago Sunday I bought a bouquet of Gerbera Daisies at Sam's club and they lasted 10 days!  I got orange ones with brown centers.  Really brightened my table.

Hope to catch y'all earlier tomorrow.

It is what it is.
