Noting of note to say here, and no question of the day other than

WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE THIS MORNING?

I'm at work and the ride was much better today.

I'm here, Judy.  Just feeling so lazy about posting this morning!

How's this for a QOTD-if you celebrate Christmas, what great (or not so great) gift did you get?  If you didn't get one, what's one thing you want to get for yourself because you are fabulous and totally deserve it?

Hope you all have a spectacular day!!

QOTD-I got a Pandora bracelet from my DH that I don't like and he bought it at a place that won't let you return or exchange merchandise.  So, as usual, I'm a meany that doesn't like something.  Maybe someday I will surprise everyone and be nice for a day!  I also bought myself a perfume sampler from Sephora (with the money I got from returning the thing the boys got me).  I really love that!

I thought you liked the bracelet... I have been wanting one but I am to cheap to get the actual Pandora one. LOL

But Sephora stuff is always a bonus!

Sorry to take up the thread with my gift gibberish, but I have to answer Suzanne:

I liked the IDEA of the bracelet, but............
don't like to wear sterling silver (I wash my hands too much and if I have to take my jewelry off  then I lose it).  Plus, I know my cheapo DH and he will buy me a bead like once a year on Christmas. I don't really like how they look with just one or two beads on them.

And............who the heck buys anything from a jewelry store that has a policy where you can't return or exchange anything?   Obviously my shopping knowledge has not rubbed off on Dave.

There you go Brenda.. sell it to Tina...

That is strange that he bought it at a store where you cannot return or exchange... at least he tried though... LOL

I wear my Pandora bracelet 24/7.  I don't take it off for washing my hands or taking a shower or swimming in the pool... it just stays on all the time.  Same goes for my necklace that's got Pandora charms on it.  Then about 3 or 4 times a year I'll take them in and have them cleaned in the tumbler -- and they're all shiny and new again!

As for wearing sterling silver... you could splurge and buy the charms that have both silver and gold.  LOL!

As for only a few charms at a time.  Yeah, that's true that they look strange with only 1 or 2 charms.  But that just means you have to buy more!  And who says you have to wait for someone else to buy them for you -- you're special enough to buy them for yourself.  And at only $25 for the silver charms, it's an inexpensive enough self-gift that you don't feel guilty doing it.  I've had mine for 2 years and it's only about halfway filled - but every charm on it has a special meaning and I love having those reminders of my accomplishments with me all the time.  (I get charms based on achieving goals or hitting milestones in my WLS journey or my life.)

My boyfriend is a cheapo too.  He bought me an engraved ink pen from Things to Remember.  The last thing in the world I need.  So how do you handle cheapness long term in a husband?

I want to see your Pandora bracelet.  I was hinting at one for Mother's day.  I have also hinted at a mother's ring or a locket.  Those are more his style, because he has no idea what a Pandora bracelet is.  I think though that I will have to do more than hint.

I just woke up a half hour ago, so now I am behind the computer trying to drink protein mix which is a struggle. I go to my 1 week post op appointment later this afternoon, I wonder if I lost anything yet?

QOTD-- I got 2 snuggies for xmas this year which I LOVED because I am always cold!

I got my son a Snuggie for Christmas.  He walks around with it on and looks like a monk in a robe!
He complained because I'm always wrapped up in every blanket in the house!

Don't worry if your weight hasn't changed this week.  You might still be holding fluids from the hospital stay.
