I'm awake I think.  I'd like to go back to bed.  Slept on tyhe couch lastnight because I tried to sleep in bed, but Gary let the dogs in there and all three were on my side of the bed.  I didn't want to disturb them, so I went to the couch.  Didn't sleep very well, and now I'm paying for it.  I'm not feeling well right now.  Had a cup of protein coffee this morning and then made some great buttermilk pancakes w/splenda.  Had almost a whole one and then got the 'feeling'.  Still have that yuk feeling.
QOTD:  Normal is either protein coffee or protein chai tea.  If I don't have that, I don't usually have anything.  I bought a mango yesterday to have for breakfast, but forgot about it.  I guess I'll have it for lunch.
Hope it stops snowing soon.  We want to go down to Muskegon one day this week to visit my MIL who's in a home for Alzheimer pts.  We'll just make a day trip cuz of the dogs.
Happy Monday all.

Good morning all!

Lovely snowy morning, huh?  Took me 2.5 hours to get to work this morning.  MY grandma and parents left for their cruise this morning -- hope the weather in Florida and Mexico improves for them this week.

This weekend my mom and I hit Goodwill.  We scored some major CJ Banks clothing -- Mom got an outfit that was practically new that would have cost $80 at the store (paid about $5 for the skirt and sweater).  She got 2 full bags of stuff and I got another whole bag of stuff.  We scored big time!

QOTD -- I am currently scheduled for 3 breakfastes and it seems to be working well for me.  (Except I just looked at the clock and realized I forgot my 3rd breakfast.)  Here's my morning schedule:

Outta bed (6am-ish) -- Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal
Commute  (7:30-ish) -- Protein hot chai tea (or some other proten drink)
Breakfast (10am-ish) -- Carbmaster yogurt with fiber one twigs

I've only recently added the oatmeal first thing because I was getting hungry before 10:00, then was getting hungry before lunch.  So the oatmeal seems to be doing the trick of staving off the hunger during the day.

Good morning all.  2 hour ride to work this AM-but I made it safely, thank goodness.

QOTD-What's a normal breakfast for you? Did you eat breakfast before WLS?
Never have been a breakfast eater and my band isn't morning friendly, so I have coffee in the car and then a protein bar a little later in the morning.

I got lots to do today too.

QOTD- I always skipped breakfast and now I have special K or other cereal in the morning.  I like my cereal but I hate milk so I always eat my cereal with a fork lol.  That means a lot of flakes and milk get left.  The wild blue jays love me and look for my leftovers every morning lol.

Good morning everyone.

Boy, the weekend just flew by!  It's already past noon so I've had my protein coffee and some yogurt for breakfast and just finished about 3 inches of a Subway sub minus the top bun for lunch.

QOTD:  A normal breakfast for me is a Carbnaster yogurt and some cottage cheese or hard cheese.

Afternoon all,

I have always eaten breakfast...it's my favorite meal of the day, I could eat breakfast food all day :).  Mon thru Fri I have a couple cups of coffee then a protein shake made w/ fz fruit, choc. silk, a squirt of flax seed oil and protein powder.
I mix it up (food varieties) on the weekends, I'm a crazy girl like that :).
