TGIF
Made it through the firstfull work week of 2010!
What's in your mug? Decaf and black, as always!
Congrats to all the 'Bama fans.
QOTD-What's in your weekend plans? Snowshoeing for me! Seeing lots of great powder outside and will have to break out the shoes and get going. Not much after that-just the usual chores.....
Stay warm!

Good Friday Morning Deb and everyone,

I'm at work, staring down a sausage croissandwich.  One of my co-workers brought it in for me and I know it will make me sick, so I am just mushing it around in the wrapper to make it look like I ate it.

I still have that whole bottle of chewable calcium to give away if any new ops want it.  Just let me know and I'll send it to you.

QOTD-I just have little errands to run all weekend.  We are supposed to be getting some new Wii games, so a little play time, too.  The rest of the weekend is for sleeping!!

Hope you all have a great day.  The roads were terrible this morning on my way to work.  Be safe!

Having my black coffee...feeding Dub his mangoes and oatmeal.  Right now he's chillin' in his high chair, watching the news.  I think he's contemplating a poopy diaper.

QOTD:  Not much for the weekend.  Hubby is working OT tomorrow.  He keeps telling me that OT is going away soon so he's working it while he can, but they keep scheduling weekends.  We'll take it!  I am planning on going to my inlaws for a while if the roads are ok.  That's about it for us!

Morning everyone!

Protein coffee for me again today (my usual).

QOTD:  Nothing... you mentioned snowshoeing and I've never done it before.. got me thinking...

Other than that, clean the house, do the laundry, fill the fridge and start packing to go stay with my daughter for a couple of weeks (while I'm recuperating from my TT)....

Maybe a last minute date????

Can't wait to hear about your TT.  You didn't like anyone here in TC?  I'm almost 6 months out now, and 4 pounds from my Dr.s goal, but 29 pounds from my personal goal.  I've been checking out all the saggy skin in my belly and thighs.  The angel wings go without mention.  I told Gary if he wants to buy his quad 4 wheeler, I don't want any grief from him when I decide to do plastics.  Didn't think I'd ever consider it, but this saggy skin sucks.
Is there anywhere in town that I can try on spanx?  I hear it's the best, but pricy.
When is your tt scheduled?

Hi Jody,
If you can walk, you can snowshoe. It is such good exercise. I love it because it gets me out where it is quiet and beautiful. I never get cold because you really do work at it, but it doesn't seem like it. I go to a golf course or the KalHaven Trail.

Morning everyone!

Haven't been here in awhile.. Life has just been busy and I facebook way more than I come here. Been busy this week, we got a new placement a 14 month old boy. He is keeping me busy but he is definately a good baby.

I am drinking some diet coke this morning I know I know bad bad patient... But I am battling a headache and the caffeine helps with that. I had a granola bar for breakfast and thinking about eating a banana... Cannot decide if I am still hungry or not.

Hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks I will be 5 years old from my surgery.

QOTD: My Mom is coming to town to visit so we will be spending some time with her. Then my inlaws are going to Florida next week for a couple of months (JOY JOY insert me doing happy dance) and we are all getting together this weekend for a family dinner to see them before they leave.

Have a great day everyone! I am actually loving this snow! I love seeing it!

Shower taken, makeup on and going to have a protein chai tea now.  I have a new patient physical at 11:00 with my new doctor up here.  Dr. Gwizdala worked at Henry Ford with my doctor down there.  She wasn't taking new patients, but my doctor down state said she owed him, so she did take me.  I hope she knows something about WLS patients.  I've made a list of my meds and vitamins to give her as well as a list of meds that can harm the pouch.  I've also printed off my spreadsheet of past lab results since WLS.
My son is a teacher and he texted me this morning saying they get a snow day today.  He's happy cuz he'll be able to stay home with the new baby again.
QOTD:  After the doctor today we're going shopping to look for a couple of large suitcases with  wheels.  We're going back to Alaska in 2011 and I don't want to have to drag my old 'wheel less' suitcases.  Probably will just take the dogs for walks this weekend.  No plans as yet.  Just chillin.

Jani did you see my snow day post.

Tell Gary I trying to help him by showing you how useful that 4x4 can be. And unlike motorcycles you can ride them all year long.
